I started vaping like 1 month ago. Bought a subtank mini and a kayfun lite plus v2 until now. Also I started to make my own coils and juice. Looking forward to learn a lot of stuff from other members.

I want to buy a crock pot for faster steeping. can someone recommend me a good one?

The thing I don't understand is how crock pot are heating. For example I'm interested to buy this one from amazon since it has digital countdown timer, two level of heating low and high and also an automatic keep warm function. Yes I will use it to make food as well haha.

From what I read on the product description this crock pot will start heating until it will reach 212 degrees. On low settings it will get there slower and on high settings faster obviously.

However from what I read on the forum the recommended temperature for steeping using suck a crock pot is about 122 degrees. So, how can I work with this one? Do I need to keep an eye on the crock pot so I can stop it at 122 degrees or what?

Hi George! Welcome to the forum and congrats on how far you have come already! NICE for 1 month.

I can't help you on the crock pot. I'm old skool, I keep a LOT of juice on hand, so steeping happens as a natural produce of waiting their turn.
Be careful, some flavors suffer from heating. If ya can, just make enough inventory that you can steep naturally. I would only heat steep test samples for DIY.

I don't heat-steep my juice, but I know they make crock pots with a temperature probe where you can set the temp.

Bowl of dry rice heated in the micowave works for me I save my crockpot for supper!
