Kangertech kbox mini :)
What is the resistance of your coil heads? .5 ohm, 1.5 Ohms, etc? Then, what wattage are you using them? Third, what type of juice are you running through them? All factors that affect your coil life.

1 tip, pull out that Rba section that came with the tank and check out one of the many rebuilding tutorials for it, here or utube. Pick up some 28 gauge wire (kanthal or nichrome to start) and some cotton (name brand vape stuffs or just simple Non bleached organic cotton balls from store) online or from Local B&M. If you don't already have them, grab a small screwdriver set (something like a 1.5mm - 3mm set). Review the tutorials until you feel comfortable, and (certainly ask all you can on this forum) try rebuilding that Rba section. It can be intimidating at first, but once you get the hang of it you might never want to go back to stock coils (except for convenience purposes of course).

Exactly.

I have dozens of tanks and the Subtank Mini is still one of my favorites and I use at least one every day. I own 6-7 of them. I don't recommend any of the coils other than the 0.5ohm OCC coils as I find the others (1ohm+ mainly as I have only used a few claptons) do not last very long at all and the vape isn't that great.

I also love the RBA. It is super easy to coil/wick and it even comes precoiled..... So dry burn it for a sec, wick it and fire it up. Takes a minute or two and is as good or better than the prebuilts IMO. Additional coils are easy to make or you can buy them as cheap as $0.05 each (Fasttech 100 pack is $5 and change).

I use rayon generally and a lifetime supply can be bought at Sally's for about $15.

Hi guys love using my e cig just 1 down fall i seem to go through so many couls and is really annoying me and there expensive also any tips or tricks anyone???? Please :)

Hi Will, welcome to ECF! Unless you're just pushing too many watts and scorching the juice (unlikely) then the juice you're vaping is likely what's causing your problem. Some juice is harder on wicks/coils than are others, there isn't really a fix for that except to find a cleaner juice. Certain flavorings and most sweeteners used to make juice are the culprits, they don't atomize well and end up clogging the wick eventually building up on the coils where they scorch/burn. NETs (my favorite)are the worst at this but some of the synthetic flavored juice is almost as bad.

When I first started vaping I used a Kanger protank (clearomizer). The juice I enjoy (NET) is notoriously hard on wicks/coils and I had to replace the factory coil head every day or two, it was expensive. Making matters worse, some of those new coil heads were DOA, didn't work right out of the box. I tried my hand at rebuilding the tiny factory coil heads but after a couple of months decided if I were going to continue doing that I'd be better off just getting a Rebuildable Atomizer (RBA). After buying my first RBA I never looked back, better flavor, easy to build and far less expensive to use. Even with the high level of maintenance my NETs require I can maintain a dual coil RBA for an entire year for around $1 and that's using the best quality supplies available.
