Hi Everyone,

I have recently upgraded my battery from an innokin coolfire 4 to a smok xcube 2.
I got it on Christmas day so i have literally only had it 4 days. I also received a Cloudjoy Black Widow RDA. as i have wanted to get into rebuilds and dripping. I put the two pre made coils into the build and it was fine, it was reading 0.6ohms then all of a sudden the ohms were reading at 2.8.
I tried the atomizer on the coolfire and it worked fine, then i went back to the Smok and it was reading 1.6 after asking me if it was a new coil. i then tried the isub tank i had on the coolfire on the smok that i know has a 0.5 coil in it, and the smok read it fine.
I then put some other coils i got in a premade coil pack into the black widow and it was firing and vaping fine, then i got an "ATOMIZER SHORT" message and it wouldnt fire or anything.
Could it be that i have incorrectly built? as i have only just started using rebuildable atomizers. so would a trial and error session do me some good?
Any assistance or advice would be greatly appreciated.
Hope everyone had an amazing Christmas and i look forward to another year of non smoking :)
Peace x

Verify connections are tight, leads are trimmed flush, coil isn't touching the side walls. Pre-fire before putting wick in. Make sure its heating inside to out if not use good tweezers to adjust the coil tightness and location.

If it's working fine on other mods sounds like a 510 connection issue. Some tanks have longer/shorter pins then others so I only buy tanks with adjustable pins unless they are made by Smok in this case. Most mods have spring 510 pins so longer isn't an issue but if it's to short you'll need to unscrew the 510 on the tank till it sits flush.

The Black widow now is being read by the smok as loads of different levels when i unscrew and screw it back on. and it vapes fine when it finally reads it at the 0.4 the coils are then says "ohms too high"
starting to annoy me now -.- its vaping fine with the isub tank, no problems at all so i think its the tank.
I will unscrew the pin a bit and report back.

its just died again -_- just keeps saying "Ohms too High"
Odd stuff bro. If tightening didn't help maybe they were to tight and you snapped the wire. Tugging on them to see if they pop out easy, don't explain why it reads fine on the coolfire though. Try to unscrew the 510 again and don't screw it on tight, could have screwed back in from the pressure... happens to mine alot.
