Just signed up today since I was told by a friend and co-worker this was the best place to find reviews and chat with other E-cig users.

I am very new to E-cigs. I got my first E-cig about a week ago, its the basic Volt battery from SI that my friend hooked me up with plus the V2 Notebook-Cig. So far I have only tried SI flavours and those have been Freedom, Country, RY4, and 555, with RY4 being my favourite so far. So, this is day 2 without my American Spirit Blues and pretty happy with my setup thus so far.

So yeah, hey guys and gals.

Oh yeah, of this I am aware. After my friend hooked me up with everything and cut me loose, out of curiousity, I Google searched E-cig and was immediately lost. Probably could not have made this transition without the help from my co-worker.

I want to eventually get one of those VV Batteries but I have no idea where to begin with that. Just kind of aimlessly wandered the internet after I couldn't find one on SI. But again, my co-worker just happened to be using a VV battery and had a bit of insight on 'em. Probably hold off on looking into that.

Congrats on starting your vaping journey,

Dont forget to head over the "faces of volt" promo thread on the SI forum for your free battery

I'll be sure to do just that, thank you.

LKnives, if you really want to look into VV a great place to start is the Ego-C Twist. Very fair priced, and for beginners they work amazingly. It's been my setup for 2 months now and I love it. You can grab them and get a decent atomizer or a ViVi Nova 2.5 tank and it is an awesome setup. With a simple vivi nova, or even a clearomizer, and an ego-c twist, it's a great place to start and it won't overwhelm you with things to learn.

I'm still new as well if you couldn't tell but this forum is great, tons of information and tons of good people.

I had kind of looked at the Ego-C Twist while browsing but was going to start digging up reviews on VVs, mostly I've been rolling around the idea of getting a nice VV as a 3-month marker deal. So far I've looked at the Ego-C Twist and the Innokin iTaste VV. I've heard good things about the Phoenix bottom coil tank from my co-worker but any tank system recommendations I can get is appreciated.

Welcome aboard. I use Volts and the bigger Volt X2 myself and they've done me well. I like their 555 the best, but I keep hearing good things about the RY4. Sounds like you're off to a good start.

I liked the 555 as well but the RY4 is, as I said, my favourite thus so far. Freedom and Country had an odd taste to me.

Welcome and congrats on the switch, my husband and I switched the 16th of Feb and have never looked back. He smoked over 30 years, I smoked a long 25 myself, best decision we ever made.

I've only smoked for about 4-5 years now, makes it a bit easier on me to be switching while I was still fairly "young" into cigarette smoking.

Thanks everyone for the welcome.
