Hi guys i m new
ive been reading in to e-cigs for about 2 days now, got some basic knowledge and i would like to know more before i order

my goal here is to quit smoking slowly, still enjoy it a bit, remove the odor ( cuz of my job )

ive seen the videos posted by mistress which was really nice, i have the slightest idea of which model i should get but i still have some ??? over my head, so here they r

-i live in canada, b.c., anywhere more "local" (cheaper) for shipping?
- i've been on happyvapor.com (b.c. site) but they only offer nic free juice, which arent really what i want.
- and i know theres 2 types of juice VP/VG, whats good n whats not (completely no idea)
- i m a medium smoker, about 10-15 cig a day, no idea what strenght i should get.
and lastly - i havent ordered anything yet, so if anyone could post a list of things i should get ( usually when do i get refills? ), that would be great =) thanks so much guys

hi i'm new!

with juice most people go with an 80/20 pg/vg mix. it still gives good flavor, throat hit and vapor at that ratio. i'd start by ordering some small sample bottles of different flavors and nic levels. 24mg might be a good nicotine amount to start at and then you can go lower/higher if you feel you need to. i was smoking 17-20 a day and 24mg was the strength i needed to quit smoking. it's different for everyone though.

i don't know of any places in Canada that sell juice but i'm sure some others will chime in.

for starters i'd look into the 510 kits. be sure to get at least a couple of batteries and atomizers. Cignot your Midwest Electronic Cigarette store. has no box 510 kits for a good price, once again, i don't know if they ship to Canada or how much international shipping costs with them.

you will want to look into filling your own carts. most of the pre-filled ones aren't that good and the liquid you can buy is much higher quality.

if you want to do some more reading look into the "blue foam mod". just do a search for it on here and youtube and you'll find plenty of info. the blue foam works much better than the polyfil that comes with cartridges. it's the stuff that is inside the cart that "holds" the juice.

thanks for explaining the pg/vg mix, so if i order from a site, i gotta find out if its pg or vg?? prob 24/18 somewhere along that line is good for me, ill try to find a site to order or order it with a friend or something to lessen the shipping fee, thanks though

FYI FredomsmokeUSA will let you do custom PV/VG blends as well as the 18 or 24 nic you are looking for. they do ship to Canada and there Juice is veary good price is good and they have a 800 # you can call if you have questons. this is only my 2c Good luck and welcome to the ECF.

I'm going to suggest freedomsmokeusa too. I got a whole bunch in 80/20 pg to vg and 18 mg and for me it's perfect, everyone is different though. I also have some small bottles of 24mg for in the morning when I really need a nic fix.

Well I ordered 300ml (10 30ml bottles) I figure that put me at something like a 6-9 month supply. That and the 2 extra atomizers I ordered came to about $160. They also threw in 3 samples 3ml bottles for free. I wouldn't suggest getting that much until you know what nic strength you need, would be a huge waste if it's too strong or weak. I would guess probably figure 30-60ml per month. Oh and make sure you use the coupon code freedomsmokeusa to get 10% off and I just checked and shipping to Canada isn't too bad only $9.

I'm sure it will, good luck. I originally bought my 510 kit intending to stop smoking in the apartment because it was really bothering my wife, and to cut down. I did also hope that maybe I would eventually quit but if not at least cut down a lot. Since July 10th when I got mine I went from 30-40 a day to 6-8 immediatly then soon down 1-3 a day and now I have quit for just over 4 days. I won't kid you and say quitting was easy but it was much less hard than other methods I've tried over the years.
