i started vaping yesterday
i got joyetech evic vtc mini full mod and marlboro 11 mg
but its rly heavy is there a way to make it a litle lighter maybe the settings im using are wrong
my settings are
joyetech ego one cl-ti 0.40hm but on the screen it says 0.41
temp ti 170c
power 20w

im used to smoke the normal red marlboro packs

Hi @terago and welcome to the forum. When you say "a little lighter" I am guessing you mean the nicotine hit is a little strong? I am also guessing the juice is "marlboro 11 mg" . The best way to cut the nicotine strength in a juice is to buy the same flavor in a zero nicotine. If you "equally" combine the 11 mg and the zero nicotine juices it will cut the nicotine in half to 5.5 mg. If you put 2 parts of the 11 mg plus one part zero nic you end up with roughly an 8 mg juice.

Most people who sub ohm (.41 is sub ohm) don't vape strong mg juices (avg from 3 to 6 mg) as it makes it somewhat harsh (throat hit) and has potential for nicotine sickness (dizzyness, stomach ill, headaches...).

I am not very experienced in temp control so I can't effectively advise on the settings.

Good luck in your journey, you're more than halfway to quitting the cigs. Don't be discouraged by this small issue, we all go through similar experiences finding the proper balance of the vape. I am certain somone else will be along to address the settings issue if there are any.

Sir2fyableNutz is right. You have to cut down on nicotine strength because he sub ohm tank is giving you a much more bigger cloud and thus more nicotine. 3mg to 6mg should be better. I'm using 6mg without problems.

always start low and move up slowly.
especially when new

use lower nicotine mg strength: try some 3mg

temp 170c should be low enough to start but you could start from 100 anyway
I'd drop power the power to 10w to start then move up to 11, 12 etc.


Right now my settings are
VW
2ohm
11.5w

The 0.40 to 0.41 difference is nothing; if you look at the screen and press the button you should see the 0.41 increase probably to 0.8

The only issue with mixing the marlboro and the zero nic tobacco would be if it tastes real bad. I would try a small amount of each before mixing a large amount so you can see if it is tasteful to vape..

I've mixed 2 different bottles together before and loved it, and even if it's bad it's still better than going back to the cigs. Hang in there, you'll make it.

I have given up using my eVic Mini in Temp Mode.

Gone back to Vaping Kanthal at 14-16 watts. I've been vaping quite a time, and t.b.h. it was too "heavy" for me.

I'm saying nothing in particular, just putting that out there.

Sir2 has you set right. Your nic is too high. You might want to lower the temp a few notches, too, see if that helps.
