I have been looking into getting just atomizers as they are essentially mini fog machine , so they would be quite useful in personal projects. So I'm wondering is it safe to just import that part , or I should go the black market route, if so just how expensive does the cheapest version go for ?
I did a google search on "nightclub fog machine" and found one for $40. Most of them cost a few hundred. There is no balck market for vaping stuff in the US because nothing is illegal. A fog machine does the same thing as an ecig, boils liquid.

The thing is , actual fog machine are huge compared to a vape ,from what I see In sites like Alibaba they can go for like 5 bucks. But since vaping is illegal here in sg I'm guessing the price for it would be a lot higher then that if I cannot just import it in.

Little confused about both your intentions and your location. I'm assuming you live in a country that has an import ban on vape gear.

As far as the "fog machine" thing goes - no, these really aren't. A fog machine requires a source of moving air, and unless you are sucking on a vaping atty like it's intended to be used you won't get much vapor out of it.

ETA: n/m - I didn't see you posted in the SG group.

If you press the fire button and blow into the air supply vapor will come out of the drip tip the same as a smoke machine. I suppose somebody could rig up a hand held vapor gun, a personal smoke screen. Hey! An invention. We're going to be rich! Shh...keep it a secret.

I sincerely hope you're joking.. First of all a tiny air pump is not going to flow enough air to get thick clouds that you see vapers do, not to mention they are not meant to be fired for long, it's difficult for the wicking to keep up not to mention the strain on the battery. You would end up burning the cotton at best or even venting the battery if you didnt get a regulated mod. I don't see any way this would be a practicable alternative for what you have in mind.

If you're looking to get a consistent mist, look into piezoelectric atomizer like the kind they use on those kitschy fengshui fountains.
