Hi Gang:

I know that there have been discussions in the past on part numbers of different makers' atomizers. Personally I purchase nothing but the pen-styles now, although I do have a couple of good minis. I have noticed 801 and 802 on a couple of my pen-styles. What are some other numbers for pen-style atomizers that you think are good ones?

The reason I ask is that when and if I purchase any more e-cigs, I will ask what part number they sell their brand under.

I notice that not all of them have the part number stamped. I wonder why.

Thanks for any help.

AFAIK, DSE801 and RN4072 use the same atomizer.

Damn, I gotta get up to speed with these acronyms. I just googled AFAIK cos I haven't got that model...

Heaven-gifts just made it to my good-guy list too, kramer. I'm going away for a week on Saturday and was getting a bit light on pen atomisers. Four dropped on the mat this morning (plus batteries) and 2 throwaway cigars. My big fear was I'd get caught with no charged devices and fall into hot smoking (particularly now that I vape more often than I ever smoked). Got enough pen pieces now so I only have to take one set of chargers, and the cigars should take me through any times when the pen batts are flat. Made in the shade.

Marian, the atomisers are identical to my generic pens from Pillbox and Smokester, which are RN4072s, but the invoice says they are DSE801 parts, so that's confirmation of their interchangeability.

Right, off to pack...

Thank you Emp & kramerica:

I appreciate it. I guess part numbers don't mean a thing to me unless it is attached to a name/brand or if these numbers you have so kindly given me meet your approval as being great parts to one of your favorite vapor cigs. And I'm assuming they meet or beat your expectations; otherwise, you would not be using them. So thank you!

I've given up trying to keep the pen parts separate, Marian (I'm not as lucky with the atomisers as you!). They all look the same and they all fit each other (NJOY, Smokester, Pillbox and now HG).

I know you're a Sedansa fan and I'm teetering on the brink of buying a Diva. It'll have to be a blue one or something though or it'll disappear into the penstyle forest. I do have a Nano2 SC500 Supermini and it's an excellent performer. Bit fiddly on the cart exchange but the atomiser and battery are first class, and the Tabac flavour is the best thing I've ever vaped.

Hi Emp:

Yes, I am indeed a Sedansa Diva fan. I love how long their batteries last. I have not tried their minis (Nano) because I swore off minis due to too many bad experiences in the beginning of my vaping career. However, my family and friends swear by their Nanos. If their prices were not so high, I would give the Nano a try.

The Euro to U.S. dollar is hard on me. It's about 1.5 times the Euro!!! If Sedansa would open shop in the USA and bring their prices down, I think they'd have a lot of loyal followers like myself. In fact, I might even entertain the thought of being an investor if they'd open up here in the USA plus BRING DOWN THOSE PRICES!!!!

And their Diva batteries have to have the Diva chargers. They are not interchangeable with other chargers. That's because they are made differently ever since they went to the V4 model batteries (8-hr.)

Do the Nano batteries last very long?

Also, Emp, I only vape the PINK pens so I never have problems spotting them. Might I suggest that you do the same! Ha!!!!

Hey Marian, the Nano batts are pretty good, but I'm kinda heavy on them (incessant user) and I only have the two supplied with the original kit because they're so pricey.

This makes my Sedansa a marginal device (I use it when I'm out to dinner at a restaurant - the Tabac carts really go well with wine or brandy)

For me to use a device full-time I need five batteries and four chargers, so I can always have a full set perking on the stove. Anything less than that and the device can't do the job for me (and at that level of usage I need spare atomisers in the wings). I never let batteries go flat, but change them at about half-charge.

This is why I use generics more than my brand stuff - the peripherals that I must have would kill me for Sedansa, Janty or NJOY kit.

My Nano also has the same charger warning as your Diva. The charger from an RN4081 fits the Nano batts, and I have even had a couple of puffs on the atomiser with a generic battery attached. Worked perfectly well. I've never plugged the Nano into a generic charger though.

I'm not sure if I believe the warning though, Marian. The chargers output the same 4.2v and 0.1a as every other charger. One of these days I might decide to just go for it (I have enough RN4081 parts to bring my Nano online as a full timer).

Hey Emp:

Thanks for the feedback regarding the Nano and Sedansa. I am a constant vaper myself. I always have several Divas (7 right now) going at one time. And one other thing I like about Sedansa's batteries is that they are very strong; therefore, I get better steam/vapor.

And yesterday I plugged in two of my 8-hour Sedansa batteries into the old Sedansa chargers. Oops!! I wasn't thinking about the warning. And sure enough, I ruined both batteries!!! That sucks big-time.

I am venturing out in my vaping experiences by purchasing the DSE901 mini from PureSmoker. I've decided to give minis another try.

Is the RN4081 the same as the DSE901?

PS: What about my suggestion to buy the pink Diva so it doesn't land in your pen cup? It's okay if you're a guy using a pink cig. Really!!!

That's good info Marian - think I'll make sure my two precious batts only go in the Sedansa charger. Might still use the generic RN4081 batts on the atomiser though - nothing to worry about there that I can see except less vapour.

RN4081 (supermini) and DSE901 (mini) are different beasts. The Sedansa equivalents are SC500_V2 NANO II and SC400_V2 NANO I respectively. Might be differently numbered but the form factor is the same.

I'm comfortable with pink but it's really not me. As a proper english yeoman that's the colour I go in sunlight and I think I'd rather clash than accessorise it! I kind of like the indigo or palisander models though. I'll buy the rainbow if colours start appearing in the generic stream.

Hi Emp:

You are hilarious! And thank you for letting me know about the model numbers. I'm learning fast in this e-cig industry. With the help of people like you, I know what to buy and what not to buy. i need to start a spreadsheet with three columns: GOOD MEDIUM BAD.

And go for the indigo or palisander. That sounds good to me!!

Marian i love a good gerner you have to have no front teeth to pull the best gern! which must be a struggle when holding you e-cig firmly in your mouth:p

You ought to try it. I get the best suction without my uppers and lowers in place. Also I receive a quicker throat hit since my e-cig is practically touching my tonsils when I inhale super-duper deeply.

What is gern?
