There are more options that vary in price. The best way I found for myself was to find a brick and mortar store that I could go in and look at the different options and have someone take the time to talk to me and show me before I even made a purchase. Also browsing online vape stores with beginners guides might help. It's a grand world with even bigger variations than could be imagined by the minds that wrote alice in wonderland.

my name is kyle and im just starting out here . By the way I bought 5 'NJOY' ecigs but they give next to no sensation. is this what is expected with ecigs or are there more expensive nondisposable ecigs that will hit your throat like a normal cigarette.
Hi and welcome to ECF Kyle , there are more expensive APV 's or mods that can exceed the throat hit of a cigarette if that's what you're looking for , but those disposable ecigs will quickly wind up costing you more , stick around , ask questions and you'll be bombarded with suggestions .

Ego style batteries are good, check out "Vision Spinner v2" it's a rechargeable battery that will blow away your cigalikes.
The MVP2 is a better buy and experiance, it's $43 shipped from 101vape.com

You will need a tank. You can pick up a protank3 for about $10 and replacement heads for around $2 each. A better tank is the nautilus bvc, that's around $30 with heads around $3 each. With these tanks, the heads are replaceable, which is the part that wears out. The head contains a coil and wick that atomizes the eliquid. You keep the tank, and refill it and change heads as needed. The protank heads last a week or two, the nautilus bvc heads last 2-4 weeks. How long they last depends on how often you use it and the juice you use (thick or dark liquids gunk up heads quicker).

Good advice from Hectic with one caveat - this stupid Vision Spinner II doesn't charge properly. Put the battery on the charger. Like 45 minutes later, that 1600 mah batter has a green light going on the wall charger. No way a 1600 mah battery goes from dead to charged in 45 minutes. (The higher the mah, the longer it takes to charge.)

But you don't know that! Start vaping on the VSII and WTH, it's got an orange light on (Charge me, baby!) a lousy half hour later!

(Sigh..) Put it on the charger again. The 2nd charge will take a few hours (which is normal for a 1600 mah battery) and THEN, you're good to go for 8-9 hours. Vision is aware of this issue and they promised a fix, but it's too damn late for the yahoos like me that already have one.

Get the Spinner I, Rammstein. You won't have these problems with an original Vision Spinner or Sidewinder.

Ego batteries are what make vaping work for me. Easy to travel with and you don't need to fuss over them much. The tanks are what I'm thinking about most of the time. I really like my pyrex Kanger products. A minor piece of advice: Bigger isn't always better. If I hadn't found a product that was small enough to fit in all my pockets I'd still smoke analogs. . . probably. Also, when you're trying new things out, that super awesome mega tank can be a little bit counter-productive for a variety of reasons.

Why in such a hurry to get your noob posts out of the way?
Use them to ask any questions you might have. You will get more (and often better) answers here than anywhere else on ecf.

Like many others, I'm sneaking up on 10,000 posts, and answering questions here.

OP, your njoy is an entry level device, and it must have done it's job because you are now investigating what is possible with these things. So I'll just say that there are now more choices with e-cigs than you ever had with conventional cigarettes. There are all kinds of different PVs and delivery devices, and thousands of different flavors of e-liquid. Only you can decide which you like best.

Most start out wanting an e-cig that tastes just like their favorite cigarette (myself included), but we quickly find that there are other flavors that taste sooooooooooooo much better. We find that we can make that throat hit stronger or softer depending on our mood. We can make vapor clouds that you can hide behind if that fits our mood, and we can play with flavors as it fits our fancy.

So jump in and get your feet wet!
