Hello all, my name's James. I got my first ecig years ago and have browsed the forum here and there since looking for reviews whenever vaping peaked my interests. After reading pages upon pages of reviews and only being even more undecided, I thought that I should get something local, which makes it easier if I need an atomizer or what not (I'm not one to be prepared and stock up). The only type that seems available is the Ego. I have had Smoking Everywhere and Walmart's Mystics, which to me were a pain to fill so the Ego-T really appeals to me. I've read a lot about the leaks and such so just wondering if that should turn me away from them. I think I narrowed it down to two. I'm open to other suggestions as well though.

They might seem pricey compared to others online but I recently started smoking again so I'd like to get something as soon as possible.

There are some people who don't like the eGo-T's, but there are many who are happy with them. I had no leaking and besides you can get those optional little silicone caps that create more of a suction. I think new kits gets shipped with them now. I would suggest you throw in a Stardust with your eGo-T kit and one or two more different cartomizers to try out, and see what you like. Since the eGo is a 510, almost any cartomier will fit.

P.S. Just had a look at your link. That looks a little bit bit pricey, maybe someone in the US can suggest a cheaper place.

Dzzziel,
Dragonbone is right. That is a bit on the high priced side of things. There are several vendors in Philly. Maybe you could shop around a bit. I have a local vendor here in the Houston area who could hook you up with a good price but so can so many others.
The eGo T to me was leaky. I now use a ProVari (again pricey) with a carto and a tank. But I have also went back to my eGo battery while using a Vision eGo Transparent Color Clearomizer. The manufacturer says these are good for 25,000 puffs. I have yet to reach this but so far I am impressed. Great vape and absolutely no leaks.
My suggestion is to keep the eGo batteries you have and look at some other atty, carts, and tank combinations. You may be pleasantly surprised that you will find something you like more.
This is just my :2c:

Personally, I don't like the T system. Muted flavors was the main problem, oh and along with leaking.

Majority of vendors ship rather quickly so I wouldn't worry about staying in your local area but can understand if you want too. However, I recommend the KGO kit from hoosierecigsupply.com and some boge cartomizers in 2ohm. Add a drip tip and you have a simple setup without all the problems that you could have with the t system.

First of all I need to plead almost total ignorance in the company of such knowledgeable people but just wanted to mention something I found last evening. On the site of Smokeless Image there are two things that look very exciting to me. One is called Volt X2 battery, which can also be used as a throughput, and with that the Clearomizer. I have no afiliation (sp) with these folks, in fact have never made a purchase from them.

Please note that I am almost a total noob, and don't know the difference between a 510 and a box mod, but unless someone dissuades me, I am probably going to buy those. I wish I had seen them when I started but would probably gone with the 510 anyway because of it looking so much like a real cigarette. They were currently out of the smaller of the batteries or I would have already purchased it. lol

Anyway, Happy Morning, and I hope I did not waste your time, and good luck with whatever you decide on. :)
