Welcome to you @movictor1.

I have to say that Big Tobacco (BT) made cigs very easy. We just pulled one from the pack and lit it; always the same. Vaping is a BIG world. A lot of directions to go, but you don't really have to just to get your nic. The Cool Fire IV+ is a good mod.

You didn't mention what tank you have on top of it. Good to start off learning what you have. Let us know, we will help. Also, in the upper right corner is the search bar. I go to the sub-forum that pertains and search. Good to learn.

For me, my taste buds were pretty damaged and took a good while. So I stuck with plain, blatant flavors like peppermint. My sense of smell came back in a couple of weeks. It all just takes time.

Another thing is that no one has the same taste buds so asking what specific brand/flavor is good is really worth it. I looked for samplers where I could choose the flavors. Then I wrote them down, taste tested them and recorded what I thought. It took me awhile to find what I would be willing to buy again.

Anyway, thank-you for demonstrating that it is never to late to change a bad habit.

the unit I have just purchased is the innokin cool fire plus 1v

Welcome, movictor. :) Yep, had to learn to spell septuagenarian too. Started off with the MVP v1 especially when I learned it had a "pass thru" and I could "thether" myself to the wall socket and not worry about power. That was 29 mos. and many mods ago. Been having a whole bunch of fun discovering new stuff since! :)
