Welcome! In my opinion, No. Up until 3 months ago i was a heavy newport smoker, at first i thought id need a high nic strength but what ended up doing it for me was the whole aspect of vaping. I love the clouds, the flavors, building, buying, researching etc. very few people i know that switched from cigs to vape, use methol flavored liquid. But to each is own. Im sure others on here will be able to give you a more direct answer. To me it is just the vape lifestyle that got me off of cigs. With cigs it was cut and dry for me.. buy, smoke, feel like crap, repeat. With vaping its a whole worls of things that keep me entertained and content!

When I quit I was using the E-Cigs Brand then switch to the Logics before going to a MOD. With the Logic kits they come with a Menthol which to me were not bad but I did not care for menthol as a smoker. My GF who was a Menthol smoker could not stand them! As they say to each his own.

1.5 + Years and on occasion someone smoking does smell good and reminds me of being a smoker but for the most part it doesn't. Someone chain smoking or steaming up a cigarette in a car is actually disgusting to me now and I am so glad when i got the vehicle I have now I refused to smoke in it because of the Virgin Ashtray. That was the start of something wonderful. The beginning of the end of my smoking days. Cutting down never worked for me I just smoked more when I smoked so I just went cold turkey one day. That was a GOOD Day!

Personally, I used to smoke Marlboro reds myself, and thought the same way most of the posters have ... that with the sweet taste of vape, it would be hard to quit cigarettes.

But I was wrong. With a couple of juices (with nic of course!), and a pretty good setup, I was able to do the transition, and since then, no turning back.
