hi I'm new here and new to vaping I been analog free for almost 24 days now and loving every second of it! I've been on this site for a few weeks reading post and see something good and positive going on here so I thought id say hello.

Hello, Diesel305 . . . Welcome to the ECF boards.

Congrats on making a decision to a healthier way of life. It's all good here . . . Enjoy.

thank u! I'm using a vapor shark its small company in miami and it has a vivi nova tank

That's awesome Diesel!!! I was first introduced to vaping by Oscar when stopping into Vapor Shark - Miami for the first time about 9mo. ago!!! I quit smoking a pack-a-day of Newports within a few days of walking out of that shop and never looked back!!! Vapor Shark is an excellent starting point and Im happy to hear you are 24 days into success! I would recommend you try some other vendors for juices if you haven't already yet. Also just so you know the Vapor Shark battery you have is an Ego-C (if it has the usb port on the bottom) or an Ego-Twist (if it has a variable voltage spinner on the bottom) just with a vapor-shark logo printed on it next time your asked :)

Cool to know someone started in the same little hidden shop here in South Florida!!! If you ever want to discuss some of the different juices, devices, etc I've tried since kicking off I'd be happy to. Im only 5 posts into ECF myself. :) Small world.

Congrats on day 25 and more!!! :headbang:

wow small world for real lol. ive seen oscar its a kool place they just remodeled n made it more roomy yea i have the ego c type of battery. do u still use your shark? congrats to u on your milestone of 9 months!

Thanks! I don't really use the ego-c shark anymore unless for an emergency back up or something like that. After I got an ego=twist and started to dial in the volts to how I like it and played around with different ohms on atomizers, I just kinda dropped the ego-c. I also veered away from the Fusion/Vivi Nova tanks. I started using bridge-less atomizers shortly after I started vaping just to try a bunch of juices without having to swap/clean tanks and found the flavor and vapor to be much more satisfactory with an atomizer. I pretty much strictly drip now. The best I could recommend to start with are the 510 - cisco-spec bridgeless atomizers (sealed post) from Avid Vapor Atomizers - Cisco Spec Bridgeless Atomizers - Avid Vaper if you haven't tried them out yet. They run about $9.00 and definitely worth trying an alternative to the tank in my opinion. If your interested to want to try a bunch of juices, looking for a more flavorful vape, etc. and don't have a lot of experience with atomizers that would put you in a good shape skipping a lot of crappy attys out there. If you need any help on what ohms for the ego-c or where to get a genuine ego-twist etc I would be happy to help. Right now I use a 2.0ohm HH.357 atomizer on the Twist and loving it. I really started becoming a hobbyist with vaping and will be looking to upgrade to a nice mod soon like a GGTS, Kicked Silver Bullet, or a Provari Mod. :)

kool thanks for the info. at the moment I'm pretty satisfied with my shark. I do plan on buying there varible voltage battery in the near future. is it fine to use the 1.8 ohm wick with a vv battery? or will the higher voltage burn it up?

with the vv battery you will be able to change the volts from 3.2 - 4.8 volts so you will be fine. Start around 3.4 and slowly bump up 1v at a time until you find a sweet spot for yourself. I wouldn't really go too far above 4.2v, somewhere around 4v should find a nice sweet spot with 1.8 ohms. With the twists (shark vv) they have a built in protection to not exceed a certain wattage also, so if u go above the limit it will automatically reduce it back to a safe voltage for ya too.
