Just wanted to say hi - I'm Matt. Been vaping exclusively for a few months now and not planning on looking back! Currently using a Vision Spinner II with an Evod 2 clearomizer. The Evod 2 comes with an upgraded dual coil which, I find, doesn't last long, maybe a few days at best. These upgraded coils are nearly impossible to pull apart without breaking the chimney off...I'm yet to try rebuilding but I'm ok with cleaning and dry-burning to get a bit more life out of my coils, but these upgraded coils, yeesh, how do I get them apart to clean and dry-burn?? I'd welcome any suggestions! :)

I've re-coiled & re-wicked my Evods before and I must say that besides from doing it for the hell of it, they're really not worth the hassle to do so. You'd be better off just replacing the whole coil assembly. If you're really looking to get into coil building I'd suggest getting a kayfun type of tank system. Or maybe a simple dripper to craft your coil building skill on.

Thanks for the welcome folks :) ....and thanks Susan~S for the video. I'm sure his cleaning process works ok, but I do think it would be better if you could actually that whole chimney assembly part off completely...without breaking it, of course :p I'll keep trying and will also see if I can replace the chimney part with one from the older coils.
