New member here, I'v been bitten by the upgrade bug

Started with the iClear 30s Not bad but nothing amazing,

Went to Aspire nautilus Mini.

Then got interested in subohm so Kanger Subtank Nano.

Then saw a video on how to rebuild the occ. Fun rebuilding but too limited with the Nano since it doesn't have a build deck unlike the larger subtank

So now with a Lemo 2 Great vape Great flavor

Next is dripper I guess, so I have a Veritas clone on order.

Cheers.

I also need an upgrade in that department :p since I'm at the very limit of the battery I have a smoktech guardian version 1 since I like the form factor coming from pipe smoker, but it's a 18350. I'm very careful to check the ohm of the build often. Eat battery like crazy 4 battery in heavy rotation constantly recharging.

Beautiful! A wooden pipe!:)

18350's are limiting. Do you have the new AW IMR 18350 800mah 12A battery? What are you looking for in an upgrade?

I have a couple of bottom feeding wooden box mods that use 14500's and they are limiting as well. The 14500's I have are 700 mAh, 4 amp. Needless to say, they are not my all day vape, but I love my mini box mods.

Fortunately I have a few other wooden box mods that take 18650's so I'm not as limited with these.

Welcome and Yes,,, You got the Vape Equipment Wants Bug.
There is no known Cure.
Resistance is Futile.
No Biggie though. Had it for 4+ years now and there's nothing wrong with it.
Now please excuse me as I am in the middle of researching the next Upgrade to the previous Upgrade that replaced the Upgrade before that which came fresh on the heels of the next Best Upgrade which was right after that Upgrade to End All Upgrades shortly following the One More and Now I'm Done Upgrade.....

Well I receive my veritas and been playing with it for a week or so. It is a Tobeco Clone. I'm very satisfy so far. Never had access to the original so I don't know the difference if any.

There is no drip tip but that not a problem since I have plenty other at home. The drip tip from the lemo 2 work very well on it as any other drip tip but it look great.

First thing I did was to change the "peek" insulator for a Genuine Peek insulator since I heard that some clone use cheaper material and can cause problem.

Like a newb I tried to unscrew the hex Peek nut from the top didn't work at all  since the base has some kind of grove indentation to keep the Peek hex nut in place and keep it from turning. You need to unscrew the 510 center pin from the bottom and push is up very easy after I figured out that what I had to do :pervy:

Now I notice that the cap airhole is smaller that the base airhole. The cap is about 1/8" and the base is 9/64". I guess you need less machine tolerance if you make the cap hole smaller since it hide misalignment.

I went ahead and drill the cap whole to 9/64". There is a tiny sliver of misalignment, not really noticeable unless you really look for at at certain angle. So far very happy with the modification.

(Ok that was more a post to make it 5 cheers)

Yes I noticed that with the veritas also; eventually I decided that the reason is if a small film of liquid gets in there it's less likely to just flow freely out.
