Hi, New to the form

Thought I would introduce my self name jaime. new to the e cigarettes. My wife thinking of ordering one for fathers day but the more i read this forms i get more confused hehe not sure what a good starter kit world be that I can re-fill with the e liquids. some advice would be nice. diont really want to spend around 60 dollars and not be happy with it. thanks


One more thing I forgot, where should be a good place to order the kit from price wise. thank you

My suggestion is an eGo kit or Riva kit (knockoff of an eGo but really nice). You get better battery life out of it. They are about the size of a sharpie marker.

As far as juice, you'll get a thousand answers for this one. I would start with small bottles and test the flavors out. Get somewhere from 18mg to 24mg nic. This is usually a good starting point. vaping simulates smoking so please don't expect it to be the same....it's not but in the end, worth the switch in my opinion.

Here is a list of vendors that offer sample sizes but I'm sure there are more vendors out there. At least this will give you some type of starting point. Good luck to you and your wife. If you need any help once you decided, please post on here. We'll get you up and running in no time. Also, when your kit first arrives, blow the atomizer out into a paper towel. Most come with primer in them...nasty tasting to vape...I don't want your first experience to be horrible tasting.

Just don't order anything small that looks just a cigarette. They don't produce enough vapor and you will be constantly changing the batteries. I use an eGo mega, and for a beginner, you can't go wrong with it. There are many suppliers who sell this. Only use supppliers recommended on this site. There are so many rip-offs out there.

Do you want to go cig size or cigar size? Then there are larger options as well and mods start entering into the picture.
E-Go / I-go's are great units but larger and bulky like a cigar but 3x the weight.
KR808D-1's and 510's are smaller and cig sized. Some say down side is battery life, so I suggest 2 or more batteries to always have backup. I see little problem with battery life and keep multiple batteries charged and ready.

Cheaper option to start is the 510

Cartomizers are available for all units, and have refill capabilities. They can be bought empty or prefilled (many don't lke the filling mess)
E-go's have 510 threading. I-go's have 808 threading.

It comes down to choice of unit and size. I prefer cig sized, even though they are in reality a shade larger in the 2 formats I gave you, and also weigh in a lot heavier than a conventional cigarette. They do feel like a cig in your fingers, and even have no button to push (automatic) options.

Bloog makes good KR808D-1 and (as told) has some nice stock prefilled favors.

It's a ego style 510 battery ( I know, it's all gibberish right now). It's more cigar sized than cig sized, but there are many options you can try if you have these batteries...plus the batts should last most of the day between charges....
