I have Kanger Evods (plastic) and Protanks Mini 2 would the new double/duel coils also fit on these that are made for the Protanks 3 and Evods 2 which I believe are the double coils. I using just the the 3.7 Kanger batteries with my tanks and either the 1.8 or up to the 2.5 Kangers coils. Main reason I'm wondering is I don't want to buy knock offs if the right Kanger coils for my tanks aren't in stock. Also maybe my batteries can't have enough watts for the newest coils?

No, the PT3 coils will not fit in a Kanger tank designed for the PT1/PT2 coil. The Coil cup is taller on the PT3 coils to accomodate the dual coil config. Don't know if the older Evod 1 batteries can handle dual coils, but the batteries that come in kits with the Evod2 do so quite well. To use the PT3 coils you would need a PT3/PT3 Mini/Evod2/T3D/Any of the Aero Tanks which are designed for the PT3 coil.

I have the Kangertech EVOD starter kit. I use both the standard EVOD single coil tanks and EVOD Glass Dual coil and Protank Mini 3 Dual coil on the standard batteries no problem. As to the dual coils fitting the single coil tanks. They won't work as mentioned above. The dual coil tanks work fine on the Kangertech EVOD 650mAh batteries. Batteries are used faster but they work all the same.

The local shop keeps coils on stock except they are, shell I say not the real brand name, that might last you a day or maybe two if you are lucky before needing to replace. Plus sell one coil for the same price that a pack of 5 Kanger coils cost else where. The local shop is in it for the money, will sell those batteries that the screw in strip or work for a month or two before needing to be replaced for $24. for a 650. I won't deal with them as I have seen to many of my friends spending far too much money. I order all mine from online honest places online that have been on this forum.

Vaporfoundry.com!!

Cheapest place I've found Kanger stuff. $4.50 for a 5 pack of PT2 coils, $11.95 for the VV Evod or 1100mah regular Evod battery. Not affiliated, I've just had lots a good experiences buying from em. Always genuine Kanger, and my orders always get out here to California in 2 days too! All my local shops are the same so I don't bother.
