I live in japan and my wife is Japanese(KUDOS hehehe) anyway no handshaking here...I like the bow I never was much of a handshaking type of person so its great, because I hate to be rude as well. we also wear masks(not the Halloween type) out especially during this time of year to prevent catching ATDs.

I also HATE public bathrooms YUCK even though the ones here are pretty much clean...still

I'm English, and if a chap isn't civilised enough to shake hands in a gentlemanly fashion then he can bally well push off! :)

.

Good show old chap.
And if it's limp wristed and not a proper firm gentlemanly shake he will be receiving a damn good thrashing :)

I HATE shaking strangers hands too. Especially after watching a documentary about germs and how most men don't wash their hands after going to the bathroom. UGH!!!!!!!!!!

Yeah, But most men are taught from a very young age not to piss on their hands. :p

But if you were the washing sort, think about it;

>Take a piss.
>Put the old fella away (after 2 shakes max)
>Turn on tap with dirty hand
>Wash hands
>Turn off dirty tap with clean hands
>Open dirty door with not so clean hands whilst picking nose.

It's a vicious cycle baby, this kinda **** leads to OCD 8-o but then urine is sterile when produced and as long as you keep the old fella clean you've got nowt to worry about.

Pass the bar peanuts will you?

LOL! Oh nasty! Ok, here is the proper procedure. Take your wiz, put your thing away, then WASH YOUR HANDS with hot soapy water, then use your paper towel to turn off the faucet and use the inside of your shirt to open the door. Now, you are able to shake hands with somoene else. :)

Why do people insist on shaking hands in this day and age? It really skeeves me out. Don't people realize what's out there? H1N1, Meningitis, Mono, squirrel cooties. I'm tired of having to douse my hands in Purell everytime some random organism feels the need to touch me.

Can't we replace the handshake with a bow like our friends to the East?

I'd like to thank whomever it was that gave me whatever I have. You made my weekend.

Because If we start bowing , FOX NEWS and friends will jump on you.

BTW i feel the same... i work in an enviornment that we share and swap computers all day.. .and they look at me funny when i clean the keyboard with alcohol swabs....
Oddly after i see guys take a pee and rinse with no soap, or sneeze and continue typing, or rub all over their face then continue typing
