Hello everyone. Thought I'd say hello to you all. My names jamie been vaping for 2 years after smoking for 14!

Just ordered my first kayfun rda and ordered some 26 awg wire. Currently smoking an omega v2. With 32 awg wire. Getting 1.2 ohms but beautiful taste and mad clouds. Using a innokin mvp 20w burning at 7.5 volt and 20 watt.

Welcome. Glad to have you join us. On my Kayfuns V4's, I do ten wraps of 26 gauge kanthal around a 7/64 drill bit. Comes out at about 1.3 ohms. Wick with Japanese cotton and run at 18 watts.

At the moment I am using 32 gauge wire I have literally just built a 4 strand coil. But doubled it so I have 8 in total and boy am I getting. Some serious clouds and the flavour is just beautiful. Only problem is this omega rda just let's too much air in. I'm tempted to just build a dual coil so I can block out the other air holes although I only have 1 air hole open...


Basically just a terrible rda. Terrible to build on. Leaks all the time but it's lead me to Mt first kayfun and I swore I'd never smoke a rda permanently but now I haven't looked back at smoking a normal micro coil tank.

my advice, return the kayfun and get a lemo

Seriously though .. I would do that ...


But annnnnway..... I have a kayfun myself. I love the lemo for the open throat hits, and depending on the juice I have. (im a one trick pony, where I only vape on one flavor at a time till its used up). So certain ones like ... tobacco flavors ill throw in my kayfun as it has a tighter draw. Where as my lemo ill throw in a root beer and enjoy the nice A&W flavor going down my throat. I always built my kayfun the same way though, 8-10 wraps 28 gauge, usualy got me around the 1.2-1.4 ohm mark. But yes good investment with the kayfun, nice thing about it is, if you can easily rebuild your kayfun, you can pretty much rebuild any tank for the most part. Its just really annoying to build... at least for me. Then you have to wick it right ... grrrrr... you will see my frustration soon enough. Anyway vape on brotha... vape on

Thank you very much for the advice. So sorry I haven't got back soon I seem to struggle finding out how on earth I find my own posts lol. I have not long ordered a coil jig so I can get those perfect coils. I'm just hoping 26 gauge isn't going to be too thin for dripping or would you recommend parallel or twisted coils still?

Thanks in advance mate and I also haven't a glue what a lemo is but I'll sure give it a look. I was torn between ordering a plumeveil or kayfun and I think kayfun kind of just won me over cause it was more expensive lol. And also I am a 1 trick pony also. I vape hard on 1 flavour which is tobacco 24mg but currently addicted to red bull!!!

Oh god you've got me worried am I not going to be getting those deep harsh throat hits with a kayfun?!? Omg ima be so ...... if. I can't lol plumeveil just seemed perfect yet when I see kayfun I thought result good name smoke in style and drip it up without constantly dripping
