Hello All,

I'm new but have been vaping for a while

V2 till I got a VTR and Aerotank- lots of problems and now I have the VTR and MVP; Nautilus Aspire and Aerotank Mega

I check out what cash I had and done some research - I got a Provari and Kayfun Lite Plus as I need something to give me THAT level of vaping where I feel like an idiot any time I think of a smoke! I have had some occasional experiences like that vaping but not consistent there fore whilst 80% cut down I occasionally reach for an 'analog'

I want this to work and do not want smoking to be dark obstructive cloud hanging over me in a few years time

I would really really appreciate some help here!

So:-

1) What do you think of that combination: Provari + Kayfun Lite Plus V2 + Virgin Vapor (steeped already) 100% VG Juices...??

2) I ordered the Kayfin from Cloud9 but...I have a nagging feeling I need something else with it (wire or whatever) - obviously I'd like to order this by the time it all comes so if someone could tell me or guide me to make the Kayfun work for a complete beginner and what I will need, whats best etc?

3) Just any tips on juices really...do they go off? is 100 VG any good? and very importantly

WILL THERE BE ISSUES WITH ME NOT BEING ABLE TO TASTE THE JUICES???

Much respect to all and I welcome your wisdom

Provari. Kayfun. Mystic Juice.

That is the top vape for as far as I can see.

Yes, you will need wire (0.25 or 0.28) and either silica or cotton wool (organic is best).

:)

Thanks a lot!

What a quick reply - this forum has great people!!

What wire? Are there anything thicknesses etc.?

Also I read something about a 'drill bit' - what is that???!!

Do you know where I can get this from?

And you are saying raw silica or organic cotton wool - is that it??

This is all I need to vape long term?

Oh and what is mystic juice??

Sorry for the multiple questions this time - just got excited!

I really appreciate this help

I'm brand new to the vaping game, but I started with a Provari and KFL and found Rip Tripper's Youtube video on coil building for the Kayfun very helpful. I've been at it for three days now, and had success on my first build just by following his instructions.

Good for you!

Was it better than your previous vaping experiences??

Im going to assume you are somewhat new to vaping due to the questions asked ( altho I could be quite wrong)
first off... yes Vapors Tounge hits just about everyone... its part of quitting smoking and starting vaping and part of human physiological operations.
100VG does reduce the flavor a tad compared to PG... if your choice of juice makers offer extra flavor shots to the juice... ask for it, it helps tremendously
since you ordered a rebuildable tank (atty) then you will want to get some Kanthal wire (30-28 gauge) for your Kayfun, Cotton balls for wicking ( or silica if you wish, but cotton seems to be the thing now).
Youtube has 1000's of tutorials on recoiling/rewicking attys... start watching :)
and of course, ECF has alot of people here who are quite happy to help you if you ask

the wire will be called KANTHAL it comes in many different "diameters/gauges, you will find 28-30 to work best

Also I read something about a 'drill bit' - what is that???!!

A drill bit is the spiraled tool that drills holes in things, it is put into a drill ( and im not being sarcastic, how else would you explain it

Do you know where I can get this from?

from a hardware store or tool supply place, look for 1mm, 1.5mm, 2.0mm or something close if it goes by fractional inch measures

And you are saying raw silica or organic cotton wool - is that it??

Silica string, it comes in 1mm, 1.5mm, 2mm, etc best bet is to get 3mm

This is all I need to vape long term?

that is a good start, a mod, a tank, wire, silica or cotton, batteries and a charger and a nice juice flavor

Oh and what is mystic juice??

that I dont know about, but Im going to assume its a E-juice someone likes, there are 100's of juice makers to choose from

Sorry for the multiple questions this time - just got excited!

we all did :)

you are quite welcome

I just noticed that you actually sequentially answered all my questions - really thank you!

I watched a video, I dunno sometimes I learn better in written form but...

This drill bit - would you not consider that essential?

Also a small blow torch and, pliers, long tweezers etc. Are they not part of an essential kit ?

This is all just for my Provaru, Kayfun Lite Plus set up

Thanks

some of the basic tools which would be handy to have around would be:
fingernail clippers to cut the Kanthal wire with
tweezers to hold and move the coil into place
some type of metal rod in the 1-3mm dia size ( drill bits small screwdriver set small dia brass tube etc) to wind the wire on to make the coil
small scissors to cut the silica or cotton to size...
If there is a vape shop in your area, go visit them and ask them to show you how to make a coil and wick it... most shops would be happy to help altho some charge for the service :(
