Thanks Chrissie!

Do they come with any Atomizers?
Also, when buying Atomizers, What level of 'ohm' should I get for best use with the Twist? Safe to go middle of the road with? 2.5?

When you buy the Evod as in my first link, comes with one atomiser head. And yes, it would be safe to go middle of the road with 2.5 :)

I can recommend the Evod as Chrissie states. They are easy to fill - easy to use and you can colour match, with a 2.5 ohm head you can twist up to about 4.5 and move up and down the voltage till you find your best flavour etc'. As a rough guide just add 2 to the ohm of your chosen head (rough guide).

Highly recommended.....

Well I got the Evod Kanger today and it has blown me away. It totally kills the Ego tanks I got with the twist. Unbelieveable! Much more full smokey puffs and no harshness...
I'm usng it alongside some Ry4 which I'm trying for the first time and I really like it. I have to thank you guys for the advice! Well worth the purchase. I'll be getting more of these soon.

I've been vaping at around 3.8 with the Twist... What are the effects going to be? Am I going to break something?

Also, I picked up a cheapo Ego t 650mah battery from ebay... Is this ok with the Evod/250ohm Atomiser set?

If the Evod has a 2.5ohm head (and none of these are strictly accurate as the resistance does vary when I tested them) then my preference would be to vape that at around 4.2v. But the beauty of the Twist is you can dial up or down so just have a play to find the sweet spot (bearing in mind that some juices and juice ratios don`t always fall within the realm of Ohms plus 2volts as the guide).

Regarding using the Evod on the eGo T 650 you should`nt have a problem, maybe the vapour will be a little less pronounced because of the lower volts (in this case get a 1.8ohm head :) )

Slightly off topic, but I think it's something that is worth picking up on. As far as I know it is still against eBay rules to sell electronic cigarette products (under "Tobacco and tobacco related items" in the "What is allowed" section):

Tobacco policy

If you'd typed "eGo-T" into an eBay search a few months ago, it wouldn't have returned any results. I am truly staggered to see the sheer amount of products being sold now.

Most of the sellers appear to be relatively new and seem to be taking advantage of the fact that eBay has turned a blind eye to similar products being sold by large Chinese outlets. eBay's attitude towards outlets is nothing new, but I have never seen it happen with electronic cigarettes - perhaps someone who has been vaping for longer than myself will be able to tell us otherwise.

The bottom line is that these people are breaking eBay rules, and, personally speaking, I would not want to purchase vaping products/supplies from anyone who is prepared to buck the system. As vapers, it is so important to know who we are buying from and, as far as possible, to know what we are buying. Seeing as you're new to the whole thing, I strongly encourage you to watch this episode of Vapelink for some interesting thoughts/opinions on the matter which are, admittedly, specifically related to the manufacturing and selling of e-liquid:

Wow, I seriously had no idea about the ban. After seeing so many on eBay I just assumed it was ok! I won't be getting anymore off there!

As far as the Kanger Evod goes, I'm getting some hot and harsh hits today.
I took the atomiser out earlier and cleaned it through, gave it a couple of dry burns and it's the same. Any suggestions on the best way to keep it vaping smooth?

How tight did you screw the head onto the base when you reassembled the EVOD? If you screw it down too tight, you can cut off the supply of juice to the wicks. On the other hand: if you don't tighten it down enough, you'll flood the wicks and end up with gurgly hits. It's a fine line between the two!

Also, the EVODs seem to prefer lower wattages than other juice delivery systems. You could try dialing down your voltage to see if that helps.

Did you take it apart fully (remove the air tube and extra wicks....) before you dry-burned it?

Try a higher recistance coil, maybe to much voltage for your coil. Or get a vvego and a selection of coils. 1.5 to 2.5 in steps I think.

and try taking out top wick to get more juice to coil. For thick vg is best

I am waiting for some Liqua juices ordered from FastTech in China, they get some decent reviews here. 30ml for $5.63 delivered from China. Takes 2 or 3 weeks to get here though.

If it is any good then for £1 per 10ml it will become a staple order.

The 2 Liqua flavours I have tried (menthol and citrus) are decent, I just ordered anothe 5 different flavours. At £3.50 for 30mls it is a bargain.

Hi,

I didn't do that. In all honesty, I'm not really sure of the best way to maintain these atomizers. I did look on youtube for a video, but I can't find one that demonstrating cleaning the Kanger EVOD BCC.

If anyone can assist that would be great. Thanks!

EDIT - I found http://www.youtube.com/watch?feature=player_embedded&v=hdl7glHoHkU#! This video which seems to demonstrate it.

So am I right in thinking I need wash everything, then remove the pin type thing out the top and the silicon casing, but leave the wick on there Then give it about 7-8 burns whilst blowing on it?

Remove the silicon cup on top, get a pair of pliers and leaving the head screwed into the base pull that vertically grooved pin off (it`s a very tight push fit!).
Remove the strands on top of the coils (these are called the flavour wicks and are basically seperate sections of silica)
You will see the coils with the wick threaded through.
Now you can wash this under some hot running water first if you like, then pulse your battery while gently blowing on the coils, they will glow and fume, keep going until the silica wick turns white (and I mean clean white! not white hot )
Replace as many of the flavour wicks as you like (and now is a good time to make sure you have some spare silica wick around!) some people like 3 strands for PG biased juice, some people like less (or none) for heavy VG juice.
Replace the center pin and silicon cup (I usually put the cup on upside down as it allows more juice to get to the wicks).
Fill and vape :)

Now if you want to do a half rebuild a good method is......
Strip the wicks out of the coil completely leaving the coil in place.
Flash the coil while blowing on it until nice a clean.
Grab some 1.5-2mm silca (size depends on the diameter of the coil as I make my own about 2.5mm dia) and double the silica over a thin strand of cotton.
Thread the cotton through the coils and gently pull the new wick through.
Check you hav`nt disturbed the coils and if you have just tease them back into place with a pointy thing :)
Check resistance (to make sure you hav`nt created a short!)
Pop the pin back in and trim the wick with nail clippers, replace silicon cup (upside down)
Fill and vape.

The next step it to completely re-coil and re-wick the heads (which is what I do) but for that you will need Kanthal wire and some basic tools.
It`s not exactly hard but definately not something for a complete beginner (and I apologise in advance if that sounds patronising! but it has more potential for shorts and possible battery damage if it`s done wrong), plus re-wicking is all you really need if the coils are good once cleaned :)

Yes, that's it. I take it all apart under a running tap, carefully pull out the knurled pin, and save the extra wick strands. Get down to just the coil, and burn it until the smoke stops.
