I used to get Strep at least once a year, then got hit head on by a drunk driver and haven't had it since. ( No joke ) I will pray for your daughter tonight as well as your family.
Hope your daughter is doing well. My 20 year old daughter is 8 hours away at college and has strep. This, after having her tonsils out last spring, is troubling. Luckily, she is now on spring break, so I took her to a doctor here to change the medication the college clinic had given her. She appears to be doing better now. What medication did they give your daughter?

Hope your daughter gets better, fast, as well. She is taking zithromax, and after out dr visit earlier today, tylenol nightime, and benedryl. Mono will takes some weeks, poor kid. She missed her national danceteam competition in Fla. this past weekend. She has missed 2 days of highschool till now. UGHHH.I will hopefully take family to Puerto Vallarta Next week though

My daughter is taking the z pack also and feeling better now. It works quickly, so she should feel better from the strep in a couple of days. The mono is a drag though and will take some time. Take care of yourself and your daughter.
