nice coils I also plan on building my own coils soon as I get a mod ( mine was stolen ) but for tools I have to order them from a company to get them on my center but I like the coil sticks that ive seen that makes coils so simple and idk what starter rda to use to get to know building better
I was also wondering about a starter rda. I currently have a billet box but want to try a dripper for more flavor. Thanks everyone for all the links and information in this thread and thanks to the OP for creating this thread!

If you're looking for an RDA thats quite easy to learn on and gives good flavour I'd recommend a magma. Its a two post, dual or single coil design with bottom airflow.

Here's a link to a clone of it. See what you think of it. :thumb:

for ohms and gage wire
" It is first determine by the width of the wire. Thicker wire has lower resistance.
It is then determine by the length of the wire. Longer wire has more resistance, so the more wraps you make, the more resistance you'll have. " by RuDawg7890

" Well, both things come into play. Basically the wider (lower gauge) the wire, the more electricity is allowed to pass thru. This means that your resistance will be lower.....

The longer your wire (the more wraps you have) the greater the resistance, as the electricity has more wire to pass thru....

So if you have an 8-wrap coil with 28ga Kanthal, your resistance might be 1.3 Ohms. But if you use 26ga, your resistance will be lower. Conversely, if you use more wraps, your resistance will increase.....

It's confusing I know, but you'll get it... :) " by jpcwon

but for rda's I like the clt v2 due to the center post

but using a cheap one that caters to eather to the flavor or the cloud witch ever you go for

ill just get a cheap rda clone use it learn on it incase I mess it up I did not lose mutch and can get more later

90% of drippers are for chucking clouds cash and the smarter the coil/coils you put in those 90% drippers will actually dictate the amount of flavour you'll get. As far as I know, there are only two drippers worth mentioning that don't rely on coil build style and they're Origen and Veritas, the order mentioned is not random :)

So I finally got frustrated with replacing my ego pens all the time (the batteries in them were awful) and I just decided to upgrade to a Sigelei 150W box mod, a kanger subtank along with a drip atomizer that I already had from a friend who didn't want it anymore.

Anyway I just finished my first two coils ever and they came out to be about .4 ohm and works great vaping at 50 watt (haven't tried higher yet), let me know what you think for a first build

For a first time build your doing great,I have found the standard coil build gives me fewer issues than a tight coil. Just my 2 cents.
