Welcome and good luck. As far as the flatulence goes I haven't heard or experienced that but it's possible. The main things I went through were all positive. Such as better taste and smell. Food and drink tasted better and I smelled things like forests and stinky smokers. All the smells in the forests were delightful and I couldn't believe how intense smokers smelled. I could smell them a block away and now I got how family members complained of me smelling like a cigarette. I always thought they gave me crap because they didn't like me smoking but now I realize it's just a bad odor. Good luck on your journey away from smokes and into the wonderful world of vaping.

I used to smoke 6-7 low tar low nic Cigarretes and am now doing a mix of no nic and 3mg juices ... is flatulence normal when u start ... will it go away ?
"The effects of smoking cessation are wide-ranging, occasionally long-lasting, and may not occur for a month or more after quitting. Such symptoms are well-known and widely reported, and these cannot be attributed to e-cigarette use since they are experienced by those who have never even seen one. Apart from dry throat and similar effects, almost all 'symptoms of e-cigarette use' are the result of smoking cessation and are experienced by quitters regardless of whether an ecigarette is used or not."

Thanks Guys for the responses and encouragement
I discovered one thing over the weekend
The flatulence and ........ almost vanished when i filled up this time with 0 mg nicotine e liquid
i confess i had 2 cigarettes on Sunday and vaped the 0 nicotine 4 or 5 times instead
so i guess its the nicotine in the vape liquids which is causing it
i will experiment with this theory once again to confirm
if true then my issue is as follows
i was told that i should not switch to 0 mg liquids all at once too soon as i may rebound to cigarettes as i miss my nicotine hits
but nicotine in my vapes is causing flatulence ( unlike cigarettes , which i guess my body is used to )

PG /VG ratio is another factor
I bought the vape kit and liquids from London from a good store who advised me to go for a basic ,cigar type model which won't take a high VG content , so he sold me 50 PG/50 VG juices

So where do I go from here ?
Thanks Again

Honestly, when I quit smoking (for 25 years of 2+ packs a day) I had ........ for about 4 months straight. Flatulence too. I thought it was the PG, so I went all VG. No help. Then all PG, no help. I didn't try to quit vaping and smoke again though. I don't know what caused it, but I have a suspicion it was my ex G/F. Stress.

Then I thought it might be the beer drinking. So I quit drinking, still messed up stomach. After I got rid of the girlfriend, everything went back to normal. But as they say, correlation is not causation.

Logically the cigarettes could have suppressed the quit farts rather than the nic juice causing it :)
