Been vaping for 6 months now. Never really posted before but just read other posts and it really helped me while i was starting off, so thank you. When I started my intention was to cut my nic down and eventually quit. I have cut nic down from 28 to 18, wich i'm happy about. I guess my question is. has anyone really quit vaping, or just consider it a switch for now?

I plan to lower my nicotine level. Lately I started vaping more than I smoked so I have been stocking up on 12mg juices instead of 18mg, with some yummy flavors I can't wait to vape plus 12mg versions of my current faves. I do hope eventually to get to 6mg or even 0 nic. I hope eventually that vaping will become more like snacking and not a gnawing habit like nicotine addiction.

I think vaping will make it easier for me to go to lower nicotine. I smoked Marlboros decades ago but had worked my way down to really low nicotine cigs. Problem was they cost 50% more than higher nicotine cigarettes and it got to where I could no longer afford my low nicotine faves at over $64 per carton. I was forced to go to harsher cigs with 2x the nicotine that were $45 per carton and that is one reason I am vary happy to be vaping instead.

I think we are all kidding ourselves, if we don't admit that ideally the best scenario is that in the end we stop vaping too! I know that's my intentions in the not too distant future!

I'll be giving up the nicotine, but first I need to eliminate all the alcohol from my beer and wine, caffeine from my coffee and tea, and capsasin from my curry and chili, and the....... then again it may not be very soon.
