So, after lurking and reading quite a few posts, I just went out and bought an ecig. Problem is, I have no idea what I bought! I know this will seem a bit foolish to, well, everyone on here, but...Anyway, my biggest issue is that I can't find a model number on the apparatus anywhere. It came in an eGo case with an eGo charger and it looks like their CE4 model, which is what I guy who sold it to me said it was, but it didn't come with an instruction manual. Did I really screw up?

Welcome to ecf
What have you screwed up? Is it vaping as it should. Are you having any problems with the battery or tank or juice? Is it keeping you from wanting to smoke analogs?
Let us know how we can help. Or just chat if you want.

Short answer, post a picture. Some of us may be able to identify it just by looking at it.
My local tobacco/vape shop sells eGo style batteries w/o packaging or anything, so I'm assuming its an eGo. Is there a mark on the end cap or writing on the tube? A screen on the tube?
If you can't post a picture, describe it as best as you can and we might be able to give you a walk-around of it.

It probably looks something like this

$11.00 CE4 USB Rechargeable 1100mAh Electronic Cigarettes Set - red at FastTech - Worldwide Free Shipping

The Ce4 is a disposable tank. The battery has a button on the side.

Click the button 5 times and it will blink meaning it is on.

I do recommend charging it fully first. Plug the charger in and carefully screw the battery onto the end..do not over tighten. Just do it until the light turns on.

Once charged it is ready to go.

The Ce4 tank has a screw off top (aka drip tip). Nothing else comes apart so it is easy to work with. Take your ejuice and slowly drip into into the side of the tank and AVOID the middle post. It should have a level indicator on it. f not just fill it to the bottom of the silicon. Screw the drip tip back on.

Screw the tank onto the end of the battery. Do not over tighten. Give it a shake or two to make sure the juice wicks up. Then press the button, it should light. If not click it 5 times.

When that is done just hold down the button and take a nice even slow drag into your mouth... will take a while to adjust to the best method..

then enjoy!!

I literally got back from the store twenty minutes ago. I have it charging, but I haven't used it yet. I honestly am now a bit scared to try it because I don't know exactly how to use it, as in turning it on and off and such.
I'll try to get a picture of it in a little bit, if that's okay?
Thanks Abbell, that's pretty spot on, although it didn't have the little white bottle with it. Is that important?

Nothing to be afraid of, turn it on/off by pressing the button 5 times rapidly , fill the clearo with juice while the batt is charging to give the wicks a chance to saturate.
When you're ready to give it a try - install clearo on batt, press button, inhale slow and steady.

LOL. I can't tell you the number of times I've spilled juice or overfilled my tanks. Just clean as much as you can on the outside and take a tissue and hold it at the connection end and blow thru the top piece. This will remove any juice that may have gotten into the middle shaft.

And I like cherry ejuice but never tried that particular brand.
:)

It smells really good lol! Thanks for the tank advice. Heck, thanks for all your advice. I see by your banner you have not had a cigarette, an analog, in a very long time. So, the vaping really works? I'm so tired of smoking and I have a young child and I'm scared if I keep it up, I might not be around for her.
I hope that's not too much info...

That is a shame.... The shop that sold it to you should have walked you through all of the starter things. But have no fear....
No question is a bad one so as you may be able to tell already just ask away for what ever you feel the need for.

P.S.
I have spilled more juice than I would care to clean up, so no worries:2cool:

Nope not too much info. And yes, vaping really does work. Vaping is really just another form of nic delivery. and we all know that the nic is just one part of the total addiction. We are also addicted to the behavior of smoking. the hand to mouth, the 'smoke' that we blow out, etc. so to me I really didn't give up anything. Just changed the way it is delivered to my body. And it tastes so much better too. LOL
