I've looked into e-cigs on and off for a year or so. I thoroughly enjoy a hand-rolled cigarette, but my parents got me a knock-off e-cig from dealextreme.com(A site I sent them to for gift ideas because I'm a fan of innexpensive and occasionaly junky gadgets and such/electronic in particular), and I've been messing around with it ever since. Today I pulled the trigger and ordered my first real 510 kit and some parts, and some TW e-liquid because I'm certain that this no-name liquid that came with this piece of junk is probably made of anti-freeze(yes I've tasted anti-freeze, such was growing up with a professional mechanic as a father X-P ). lol me and the poison-control hotline operator were tight jk(well sort-of, I really did have a habit of accidental self-exposure to toxins) Anyway, I've been smoking since the middle of my 17th year(I've just turned 20 last month). I still smoke occasionally, and I'm not really trying too hard to quit, but the e-cig has grown on me, especially because of it's cost effectiveness. my only real complaint is that I find it too easy to overdose on the nic with the e-liquid, but I'm sure that can be overcome. I'm particularly interested in making e-liquid because I grow tobacco every year and extracting concentrates from it would be a breeze. I'm pretty good with garage chemistry too, and I worked with a lot of the required chemicals and have them from past experiments making DIY lava-lamps. I have plenty of PEG, VG, etc on hand.

Yes PG is the same as the safe antifreeze (aka potable antifreeze). However the PG used in e-cigs is food-grade USP PG. PG is also found in food flavorings, concert fog, inhalers, etc.
PG is Propylene Glycol (not PEG)

PG Chinese ejuice is not the pinnacle of ejuice in texture or flavor. There are two bases used for ejuice, often mixed.
PG - lets through the most TH, thinner, supposedly lets through flavor better but can be harsh (cause sore tongue or throat) and I think it is more drying than VG
VG - makes more visible vapor. thicker, a bit sweeter, smoother vape, but dulls TH

Popular ratios: 70pg/30vg, 80pg/20vg, and some people like 50/50. Some people who are especially sensitive to or allergic to PG use 100% VG juices.

yeah I'm well familiar with the characteristics of those chems:facepalm:. I've made "shisha"(as american hookah smokers call it) out of my tobacco before and had experience with them. I love the the sticky-sweet, uber-cloudiness produced by straight vg, personally, I occasionally pour straight vg over hookah tobacco that's gotten stale or dried out, to produce a more enjoyable smoke.
