Hi all just joined the forum. Been smoking for around 33 years never missed a day, on around 30 roll ups or more a day. A friend has just got a e cig so I am thinking about giving them a go. I did not realise there are so many makes and models and different bits and pieces you can get for them.
I have read a few of the new members posts to get a little of an idea about it all. I will keep reading and asking a few questions.
Phil.

Hi Phil, here is part of a post from earlier. It is a simple overview of vaping and might help you think of some questions. The others on the forum always seem to be happy to answer so dont be afraid to ask. I found that everyone is very helpful.
"The e-cig experience can be broken down into three basic parts. 1) the power source 2) the delivery device 3) the e-liquid. The "power source" in your case is the Battery. The "delivery device" is the cartomizer (the cigarette .... looking thing). The e-liquid is just that... the liquid you drip into the delivery device." "Over time, if you choose, you can upgrade each element and improve the vaping experience. I'm certainly not an expert but we will help as best as possible."

All I can say Phil is " take that first step and don't look back" 30+ yrs. smoker here as well. I started vaping almost 6 weeks ago and love it. Only had 1 analog since I started vaping and only because my battery went dead! I don't even think about them or miss them. There is a lot of support here so give it a go, you won't regret it.:headbang:

I do want to give it a go, I have been looking for a few days and it seems very daunting. The amount of information around for just a simple thing as I thought.
Basically I live in the UK I am a very heavy smoker I am out at work for 10 hours a day. So I need something with a very good battery. I would rather buy something decent than wasting my money then up grading, I would be grateful for a few suggestions and your comments on them please. Also do you have to use refillable ones?
Thanks Phil.
