Hi all
Im Steve from West Yorks. Been vaping now for 18 months! without one single cancer stick. I am currently using a Vamo V5 with a Kanger Protank 3 with excellent results. I am considering an Aspire nautilus with a BVC coil. Any good suggestions concerning this product? Either good or bad most welcome!

Hey Huddsman. I'm using a Nautilus as well as a protank 2. The Nautilus is good. I've had two issues, though. One, the tank separated from the base while traveling once. Just had to press it back into place, but occasionally, it will not fire and I have to fiddle with it to make a connection. Two, the tank has to be torqued down firmly to prevent flooding. Pretty much to the point that I have to use pliers to unscrew it to fill again. Just my personal experience. Other than those two minor inconveniences, it's been a great tank. Welcome to ECF.

So many threads on here concerning the leakage of the BVC coils, which kind of throw me off the scent of a Nautilus aspire. Might just stick with the good old reliable Protank 3!

I use BVC coils and got two mini Nautilus in August. Not one of them has been a problem. I realise it looks bad (on here), but in reality, if you were to check out the UK forums you'd see the BVC has almost killed off many of the Kanger tanks. Most of the vapers still using Kangers are making their own coils or buying handmade microcoils and cotton wool. Most problems are down to either under or over powering the coil. (too pathetic a battery or trying to send them up towards 20 watts).

BUT If you find the Protank 3 reliable, then there is no reason to change. If your Protank never leaks and you get 14 days from an atomizer head.... celebrate!

Hey there Huddsman! Welcome.
By the sound of the reviews I've read you will either love or hate the Nautilus depending entirely on if it gives you any problems or not.
I couldn't be happier with my mini and full size tanks. Zero issues whatsoever with either of them so far and the best flavor I've experienced yet from them.

Hi Huddsman, I went from the Protank 2, which had zero problemsto the Nautilus. I did notice right away that once the Nautilus got down to a third tank, it wanted to flood. I would fill it up and it would be fine. Thinking and tinkering, I see it as temperamental. But, many times it was fine. I just took the bottom off, wiped the coil and reassembled. Worked fine. Just temperamental.

Flavor was a definite step up from the PT2.
