Ive been getting hiccups a LOT lately right when i inhale a vape. anyone else get this?

Only when i vape alot at high nic. I used the nicorette mints and gum before and ot happened all the time and is a known side effect of those. So i think its nic related, are you using high nic?

Every so often, this happens to me. I'll just hiccup on every inhale and it's really annoying. It only happens once every few weeks though, so I'm not sure what's up with that. I would assume it's the nicotine though, as Start said.
i HAVE to vape 24mg or else i still want an alternate source. And its SUPER irritating. i pretty much cant get a good drag.i was hoping it was the vg because my only e liq i have on hand right now is 100% vg. (i have to be super patient for fluid where im at.)
Vg tends to choke me up a bit more so it could be related.

hiccups are a known warning sign of nic OD as well. So you may wanna cut down on your mg and vape more, or just use the high mg, and vape less. This would of course depend on how much your vaping now.
When I vape alot of high mg, I get the hiccups and stop. Wait about 30mins to a hour then repeat. Thats why I mostly vape only 18mg.

I always got the hiccups on a cold day when I was smoking...it sucked. I haven't had the problem with vaping yet, and I hope it stays that way.
That used to happen to me a lot when I smoked analogs. Hiccup on every drag when I got a spell of them. Drove me nuts. Haven't really seen it happen with vaping though.
It is more likely the act of inhaling or preparing for the act of inhaling that increases your chance of hiccups. The phrenic nerve being irritated is the cause of hiccups. With nicotine gum, it is the act of swallowing nicotine in saliva that causes some irritation and therefore hiccups. Hiccups are not a listed side effect of nicotine patches.

I vape 12mg, my husband 24mg. Sometimes I'll take a few puffs from his pv to try whatever juice he's using. I get hiccups and the heartburn every time. Happens almost instantly.
Never had Hiccups but I do get heartburn if I vape too much. I had the same effects with micotene patches and gum.
I guess I got lucky, even when chain vaping 30mg I don't get hiccups. I guess my body just handles nic very easily, but the same applies to me in other drugs. I have to drink somewhere near 6 beers to feel a buzz and take 3-4 advils (as advised by my doctor and pharmacist) to get any pain relief.

I get hiccups if I accidently get a bit of juice in the mouth. A drink of water usually solves the problem.
from one substance to another in my past, hiccups have never occurred on inhalation. Just with vaping from time to time. If it was the nic wouldnt analogs cause it for me too? never got hiccups from those.

I use 18 mgs. I always wondered if that was on the very high end or low. I assume medium though. I tried to wean myself down to 12 mgs, but didn't get the same satisfaction. I guess 18 mgs it will be. LOL
I always wondered about how I would get hiccups the most when I had a few beers. I wasn't sure if it was the beers causing it, or the fact that I chain smoked analogs only when I had a few. I'm thinking now it was probably the latter vs the former.
