Soooo I decided to order a Minus tank to try on my new Provari. As I was ordering I thought I would add a few new flavours to my mixology arsenal. I picked out a few including one called Hickory Smoke. Woody, smokey, mmm... sounds great. Cloud 9 vaping flavours by the way.
The Hickory Smoke flavouring is the first one I've ever received in a bottle with one of the rubber tipped glass droppers. It is the darkest liquid I have yet seen, although the bottle is clear the liquid is so dark it is basically black. Wow, I think, but still eagerly removed the lid and sniffed...
When the tears cleared from my eyes I replaced the lid, set the bottle down gently and backed away from it to recover what few wits I have...
What on earth is this stuff? The pungent aroma that assaulted my nostrils is hard to describe. Ever sniffed neat Jeyes Fluid? Or creosote? Creosote would be the right colour as well!
Have I just wasted my hard earned, or is this one of those flavours that a tiny amount is the magic ingredient in mixes? Anyone use this one (other than for cleaning drains that is)?
And should I use a Hazmat suit and fume cupboard next time I remove the lid?
