This kind of thinking is the thing I find disturbing about forums. Once a vendor gets a following on a forum and people start posting about them, others follow suit and order from them. I have liquids from so many vendors that barely get a passing glance on ECF and they are all fantastic liquids. Not attacking you personally but I feel that there are so many vendors out there that don't get a fair shake because of the fact that they get no exposure on ECF. Presumably because they do not want to register as a vendor on the site. I see the same 5 or 6 names tossed around in the e-liquid subforum to the point that I don't even bother browsing here much anymore.

IF you want to try AiV, Ahlusion, five pawns, MBV or Nicoticket then this is the subforum for you. If you want to try something different then get out there and open your mind. Try Carnival, Roka, 4Seasonz Elixir, Adambomb, Macsauce, P.O.E.T., The Vial, One Up, Freemason's or Halcyon.

Just as a note..Ahlusion does get mentioned here a lot..and they are NOT a registered vendor. They get mentioned a lot because they make really good e-liquid. I get your point but not everything that's popular is a fad or someone paying for exposure.

Point taken. And I did not mean to insinuate that the popular vendors on ECF are sub-par vendors. I can't imagine that they are with all the love they get here. I have not tried anything from Ahlusion but I plan to order some soon to see how good it is for myself.

My point was that it is easy for a few vendors to become so popular that they "take over" the subforum. Not to anyone's fault, it is just customers showing their love. It just seems there are so many vendors on par with the quality of the popular vendors here that don't even get mentioned or get pushed off the first page very quickly. I am glad I have a B&M that stocks high end liquids because it allowed me to try other things that I had never heard of on ECF. And most of what I have tried has been better than many of the vendors I have found through ECF.

I just wanted to expose some other high end vendors with good liquid that I had found in the hopes that they could share in the ECF love.

The B&M seem to be pricy. Yet for a treat I like to by off the shelf as it is most likely pre-aged. A tasteing bar will always result in a sale from me.

This. Be grateful you are somewhere that hasn't outlawed it (tasting bars, by making it illegal to vape inside publicly accessable buildings) yet, though.

there is a huuuge difference IMO. I don't buy from mom and pops anymore because of it. maybe i'm just unlucky but every b&m that mixes their own juice around my area makes crap. perfumy, alcoholy, harsh crap.

I'd agree with this if you're talking about stores that mix the juice for you. Two problems I've encountered with that type setup is lack of consistency and also the fact that the juices are fresh (i.e. not steeped).

But I know a store that mixes their own juices (i.e. use their own recipes) and they also make it in batches that are steeped before being offered for sale. That's a different kettle of fish.

Ive tried quite a few, but, in my opinion, nothing even comes remotely close to five pawns. Even attempting to use the dump in some artificial flavor, mix and leave sitting long enough for the nasties to fade away juices most vendors sell is very difficult for me. think twice about any supplier that list dozens and dozens of 'flavors'. Think about it, how much time can the possibly put in to making this garbage? Also, people whine about some juices being too expensive. For me, vaping five pawns all day is still quite a bit cheaper than spending $10/day on butts. It's the hardware that's starting to break the bank for me....

I do have to wonder about why they get soo much mention here (seeding the forum maybe). I really so no difference between them and any other mom and pop DIY, Their stuff is kind of nasty. Think about it, how can anyone sell hundreds of flavors? How much time do they put into developing the stuff? 10 minutes? It's seems pretty obvious, they can't be very good just based on that one point!

Wow..I'm not really sure where to start with this one, but it's clear you don't know much about Ahlusion. 90% of their extracts are their own, rather than the flavors that a majority of vendors use (and which diyers like myself also buy). The owner has a fine food background and it shows. I don't like lots of their flavors..can't stand blueberries, dislike tobacco..but every one of the many that I've tried was clearly *very* well thought out and very well executed. Their fruit tastes like it's real life namesake. Their lab is top-notch. The owner has a passion for what he does. They customize your liquids for you with a personalized profile system.

Seeding the forum? You couldn't be more wrong there. They aren't trying to please everyone and aren't on ECF for that reason- they don't need to drum up business and don't want to be a Wal-Mart of liquid.; the focus is on making the very best juices that they can. Vaping saved his life and this is what he chose to do to give back, and as a career now. I get your feeling that lots of flavors means crap quality- it tends to be frequently -even probably usually- the case. In this instance though, it's most definitely not.

Wow didn't check the thread for a couple days, awesome! I am putting together a hit list of brands to try.

blueGrassTubb that is interesting that you say that
"Maybe they are going for a particular type of clientele with the equipment and know-how to vape their juices in the most effective way that maximizes flavor. I have read many times that some flavors don't pop until you're using a .5Ω coil with a dripper; that the same juice in a Protank2 just doesn't taste the same. I can understand that."
Because that is the exact experience that I had! I tried "SuperDan", from GR E-Liquid, out of a dripper and loved it, then filled a carto tank. Inconsistent hit at all volts that I tried. Soo I threw it in a standard res. carto, no luck. I couldn't give up it tasted great at first so in to a protank it went :(

xanderxman what is the local shop you go to? Do they ship juice?

dwarfcat have you tried GR E-Liquid, their heavenly summer and island breeze are pretty good. they got quite a selection there of all sorts of stuff, rba, tanks, juice. i have not been to mister-e's yet so maybe GR-Eliq is just a small fish but I thought it was a decent shop.
