*I wasn't sure where to post this*

I absolutely love my new Halo system, but am extremely frustrated with the super high failure rate of these tanks. I feel I'm doing something wrong.

Of the nine I've purchased in the last month, only 2 are working. That's 2 of the 3 I got yesterday. I filled a new one from yesterday for the second time and it now doesn't work.

I'm wasting a TON of juice filling these good tanks and have them not work.

I'm cleaning all the threads and the tip. I blow through them; no juice comes out so I am not getting juice in the tube.

Any suggestions? Sometimes with fiddling I can get one to re-work, but only for awhile. I have no idea what fiddling does/doesn't work, though.

Are you getting any liquid coming out and into your mouth!!! Smoke out the tip at all... Burning smell, feel any heat around the tank surface while ingaged... Do you have an ohm meter, possibly check the ohms at the coil and adapter!! Check to make sure you didn't tighten the tank on too tight, accidently loosening the atty or possible centerpost ( dk.. don't have this tank just giving suggestions based on what I have seen)... Sometimes air delivery can be off ... try loosening the tank from the battery just ever so slightly and try a vape to see. Look for all the air holes that feed the tank and make sure they are not plugged up.. sometimes you even find you have to enlarge them a little. If your tank ahs a replaceable bottom wick ( at all ) , check to see how many flavor wick there are (2-4). try to remove them one at a time... reassemble, vape.. no, remove another and so on. Your coils may need to be adjusted if possible. Look for links here in ECF and on youtube for how to adjust your coils for the type of tank you have.... Most of the time adjusting coils is generic outside of break down and build up procedures, video tutorials here can show you exactly how to adjust your coils.

Hope some of this helps,

:evil:SD

If they are not working contact Halo. I have two of the Triton tanks, one works very well when kept full. I also notice the heads come unscrewed very easily, like every time I unscrew the top cap, so be sure they are screwed in but not overly tight, but barely snug. Once I unscrewed the top cap and the entire head came with it, wicks and all, so something gets very loose inside. But they do fire and I have to wipe out the top cap and wipe off juice on the top head, the plastic part because juice droplets will cause it not too work. They are a bit fiddley! They also work best with Halo juice, I have tried other juice and only my DIY organic Toffee is ok besides Halo juice. I have a couple other juices I tried and I got nothing. So it could be juice too. bnrk

Thank you, bnrkwest. I figured it was something to do with fiddling around properly. I'm just terrible at it, I guess. I think I'll have to go back to cartos. After over a year of trying, I just have no overall success with any tanks. I've spent well over an hour on this brand new tank, that worked fine yesterday but stopped after the first refill.

I prefer the flavor, that's why I keep trying. Wasting way too much money, though. :( Wasting way too much juice.

I haven't had any trouble with my Triton tank, but I don't use a Triton battery with it, so I can't speak to connection issues. As for losing juice, that's why I like tanks over cartos. I can scavenge most of the juice out of a tank/clearo without any issues. On the other hand, I'm not about to pull the fill out of a carto and wring it out.

Really. The Triton tanks have been the most care-free, no hassle clearomizers I've used. Even though I love my iclears, they do have their quirks and I have to fiddle with them a bit. But both tanks for the Triton have been rock solid, both the main ones and the G6 minis.

No leaking, no gurgling, no connection issues -- and I have 5 in total, plus 3 G6 minis.

The one Triton tank I have, I added other juices, one was Shire Malt from epipe sauce, it did not work in there. If it is too thin it won't wick or fire right. I added Tribeca to it and worked much better. Then I added Dueling Banjos it is 70/30 juice and it is also not wicking right so added a bunch of Tribeca to it and now it works better. But this one has some weird threads on the cap they are very thin and short, probably a manufacturing mistake. But my other works pretty well, I replaced the head and it has DIY Orangic Toffee and works pretty well. But they seem to like maybe a 65/35 mix to work best. bnrk

I've been having a consistent leaking problem on all my Triton tanks. My husband and I have taken them all apart and cleaned them, put them together with new coils, made sure the center hole is clean and dry, even stored the tanks upright, and yet by the next day they are leaking and gurgling. We fear this will end up destroying the batteries, as they are leaking down into them. Halo only says "make sure the coil is tight and the wicks aren't caught in the threads". But we've been very careful about this. It's very frustrating and getting wearisome cleaning them so often. Does anyone have any ideas? We use a couple of Halo juices, but mostly use Ginger's. Yet all of the tanks are having these leaking problem, and every day we are dealing with this.

I have never had a leaking problem with my Triton Tanks. I've had them for close to over 2 months, no issues.

Sorry for your problems, BunnyBaby. The coil heads do come lose sometimes when you tap the drip tips off to refill. That is the only thing I have noticed, and it's easy to crank them back down. Otherwise, they have always been trouble free for me.

I own 8 triton tanks none of wich leak, now i am a fairly new vaper ive been vaping about 2 weeks but i havent had any leaks. One thing in my experience is that its best to not totally fill them all the way to the top because than your risking overfill wich results in poor performance. I fill just below the line just a tiny bit below it (the 2.4 line). Also if i ever get problems with getting a good vape ive noticed i can take the top off, wipe off any liquid and unscrew the coil a little and than screw it back in (the part with the plastic cap and the wicks). One last suggestion is to only tighten the tops until they are snug. Ive read that if you over tighten those you could ruin them.
Oh and just one last thing, i personally dont like cleaning mine often at all, they seem to perform best just left alone, every time ive rinsed them with water and what not they dont perform as well until like 3 days later, ive decided to only clean mine when absolutely neccessary (but i do use only one tank per flavor so they dont need cleaned much really)

Triton tanks are T2 clearo's with a 'modified base' to fit the triton battery so it's no surprise they have the same positive & negative user experiences.
T2 heads can be used for replacements (they have slightly shorter wicks), some say they like the T2 heads better.
If you like BCC's the T3 & T3 minis from SI /volt x2 will also work on halo triton batteries.

I left them alone all weekend and came back to them today. Using all the suggestions, I was able to properly fiddle all of them back into working order. Thanks! I knew it had to be me.:2cool:

I love this Triton system and now I love it even more. I'm so glad I don't have to go back to cartos.

Nice. I have ten Triton tanks and haven't had any problems with them. Been regularly cleaning them between liquids too and still haven't had a single one burn out yet.
