Hello all I know I haven't posted alot on here, but when I have everyone has been very helpful. I have a strange situation I started vaping earlier this year and after a few months I couldn't seem to taste any of my liquids. So I began researching and switched from my ego to a vv box mod with dual coils and all was good. But yet again I can no longer taste my juices. I've bought juice from different companies, different strengths, different flavors and so on. Now I've began rambling my question is has anyone tried the high voltage/octane juices from nhaler? If so what are your thoughts and opinions all will be appreciated my situation is very frustrating. Thank you and as always any help is appreciated.

Hello, Yuttynut! Your experience is not unusual; I've read many similar posts from vapers who's sense of taste and smell comes and goes when they switch to vaping. I don't know what cases it, but you're not the only one.

I like Nhaler's ejuices. They are clean, they vape great, and they taste good. Are you looking for any particular flavor? Tobaccos? I like his menthols, Drewbacco1, and his Lung Green Tea.

He sells sample sizes--4 and 5 bucks, respectively, for a 6 ml bottle. I recommend you try different flavors before you commit to a big bottle.

Good luck and happy vaping!

I've been contemplating sticking with menthols because they seem to be the only flavors I can taste. I do like the coffee flavors and tobacco flavors, and Bluemist had a caramel tobacco that I just loved, but it too lost it's luster. I've also cosidered cinnamon, but there is alot of people who say cinnamon has cracked their tanks so that concerns me. I went ahead and ordered some coffee and ry4 from nhaler I'm hoping that it's just the liquids that I'm using and not all me lol.

So today I got my liquids from nhaler I tried the ry4 first, I can taste it better than all others I have tried. But there is still just subtle flavor, the only other thing that I can think of is maybe my carto/voltage combination. So this is my setup 1.5 ohm dc carto my vv splash set at 5 volts under load is hitting 4.8 volts. Should I switch cartos maybe 2-2.5 ohm and try 6 volts? With the 1.5 at 6 on my splash it still drops to 4.8 volts I'm assuming because of the ohms. I just want to get the most out of my liquids, which I am getting close because now I'm at least tasting the flavor and not just vapor:D. Again any help is always appreciated.

Yup! Those dual coil cartomizers are tricky, and I stopped using them. You see, we're dealing with two 3.0Ω coils but only 1.5Ω total resistance. I don't claim to understand how those cartos work, but, as EvilGnome6 explained it to me once,:

"Ohm's Law cannot be defied. V=IR holds true regardless of the variables.

If you have two 3 Ohm coils, you have a total resistance of 1.5 Ohms. Let's take a scenario of a 4V device facing 1.5 Ohms:

4 V = I x 1.5 Ohms
I = 4/1.5
I = 2.67 Amps

If the battery can't deliver that much current something has to give. Since it can't magically increase the resistance of the coils to keep the voltage constant, it must result in a drop in voltage."

So, basically, if the battery doesn't have enough amps, it will just drop the voltage... So what's the point? You're still vaping at 3.0Ω resistance, even though you're vaping two coils at once, which gives you more vapor, but that's about it.

Try some single coil cartos or atomizers. Maybe you'll like them. And remember that too much Wattage may ruin the flavor of your e-juice, especially fruit and desserts. Straight tobaccos and coffees can take more heat.

It takes time to find one's sweet spot with vaping. A lot of trial and error. But you'll get there!
