I've been trying figure out what carto would work with 6 + volts...haven't found a specific manufacturer, but I found a single carto from VaporNine that tested at 4 ohms and works quite well over 6V. This is an anomaly. But I love it!

I don't suppose anyone knows if there is a manufacturer supplying 4.0 ohm cartomizers???

Yes, I'm sure.
I tested 10 turbo cartos. 8 tested at 3.0 +/- .1..Ω
One of them tested at 2.3Ω. The other at 4.0Ω.
Re-tested - of course. Also tested a batch of V4L premiums, Litecig Premiums and Regulars.
None of the others has such anomalies.

edit: This 4.0Ω, anomaly, V9 turbo has been running for most of the day at 7.2V :)

I have a Mega 510 from NHaler that measures 4.5Ω. It's a Boge, same maker as my Turbos from VaporNine. All my other Boge Cartos measure in the neighborhood of 3.0Ω.

Speaking of multimeters. I have that IDEAL yellow digital thing from Lowe's, I just don't know how accurate it is. What multimeters are you guys using? Do you have them recalibrated?
Yours is probably accurate enough to get by with if you allow for test lead resistance. To do that, take a reading while the test probes are touched together. That reading is then subtracted from the measured resistance of the device being tested.

I use a Fluke for most of my quick resistance measurements. I also have an old Simpson vacuum tube volt meter that is best for some uses. Neither have been recently calibrated. I don't worry about accuracy all that much with the kind of ecig stuff that I do.

Regardless of how accurate your meter is, it can be accurately used for comparisons. That is, you can measure all your devices and know how much difference there is between them.

Thanks, Br. That's what I've been doing, but when I started getting some readings that were way off, I got nervous. But your findings indicate that it's indeed the cartos and not my multimeter. 4.5Ω? That's really off.
Yep, that's what it is. I didn't measure it before using it. Only after it didn't work worth a poot. I have no need for high voltage stuff, so I don't use it for anything. It's getting its most use right now as a conversation piece, heheh.
