Freedom to be able to buy and use whatever we want is a privilege, a luxury, something we should all be grateful for. When first starting vaping, I didn't know what I would like. I didn't know anyone that vaped way back almost 4 years ago- so no one to ask for advice. And if ecf or other places were in existence I didn't realize it.

So I had to experiment. At first a Camel cigarette flavor in all PG worked for me and I liked it well enough to completely quit the real Camel light cigarettes within the first few days. On a cheap ce4 and ego !!! Then as I moved on, I found I could add unflavored, no nic, plain PG from local store to dilute my eliquid and it was still good. Eventually after 'upgrading' to RTAs and DIY juice practice...... now I LOVE all VG unflavored at 12mg nicotine. No flavor, just straight 100% VG based Nic at 100mg cut with 100%VG down to 12mg. Good stuff.

I've tried varying amounts of PG mixed in, and always come back to the 100% VG

When I first began vaping, I had no idea what my preferences were, so I ordered a bunch of 50/50 juices to begin with.

At the time, I was reading a whole lot about PG and VG on the internet. PG was said to have more taste and more throat hit, while max VG was basically for cloudchasers.

Based on this info, I ordered some bottles of 80 PG/20 VG for my next order. I figured that I obviously wanted max taste and being an ex-smoker, the extra throat hit sounded like a good idea and I didn't care too much about being one of those horrible cloudchasers that I had been reading so much about.

I got quite a shock when I first vaped those juices! It was crazy harsh, and I hated it! Every single bottle. It was basically unvapable for me.

I slowly started gravitating towards higher and higher VG ratios, and currently, I am vaping max VG, and I have been for about the past 6 months.

The taste is just fine with high VG, and it is so much smoother than high PG, and most important of all, it doesn't me make cough.

Coils obviously last for a shorter time when vaping high VG juice, but it is what it is.

I'm PG sensative so, I have to disagree. I'll take Flouds (thick, flavorful clouds) over coughing and headaches, any day. Luckily for me, I discovered the problem, before I gave up on vaping entirely, and went back to smoking. We all do things differently, and vaping allows a wide variety of choices. There is no "doing it wrong", as long as it keeps you off the stinkies.

High VG Juices Are Awful is a dumb statement.

I choose high VG on many juices not because of clouds or pg sensitivity, But because the flavor is creamier and has heavier mouth feel that works best on many flavors, In fact my # 1 vendor stash only does 100 % VG.

There are some flav I perfer a higher PG for the sharper flavor Like HHV
legend.

Just depends on the Juice and what you want out of the flavor

To each their own. As others have said it's all about preferences.. What may be good for me may not be good for you and so on and so forth. I used to think I was going to like high PG when I first started vaping but I soon discovered It just wasn't as smooth on the throat. Unless I ever buy some off brand from a B&M on a whim without checking.. everything I vape is 70VG and above. Love Milkman and Churrios, and I love my 90VG Ruthless Juices as well.

Never had a problem with wicking with High VG in either my Crown V1 or Toptank Coils and their respective RBA's.. and I'm far from experienced when it comes to coil building and especially wicking.. I've only done about 20 builds so far due to all the coils I stocked up on previously. Never had problems wicking or leaking in either tank.

I disagree respectfully. I liked 70% PG when I first quit, but after about a month you stop caring about the throat hit as much. High VG is so much smoother and the flavor tastes purer. The clouds are nice too. I find it less messy to work with as well in my dripper as the high vg stuff sticks to everything instead of leaking everywhere.

I read all your comments. Back when I wrote this I was just angry BUT after reading your replies, I have another question : Why are so many people allergic to things ? I am a 24yo male , and I don't have a single allergy. A lot of people my age and even some older ones up to 30 have multiple allergies. My grandparents told me a few years ago that during their time there was a LOT LESS ( significantly ) people with allergies, when you were at a restoraunt, you weren't asked whether you are allergic because noone expected you to be and even their menus, the majority of them were made without taking ppl with allergies in mind, so bassically allergic people were the ones who had to comply with the others, not the other way around like it is today. I have nothing against people with allergies , I am just trying to show you how unhealthy the world has become .

They say bottle fed babies have more allergies than breast feed babies. Probably more people have allergies today because more are bottle fed than before.

I like a 60/40 mix myself, but as stated earlier; one of the nice aspects of Vaping is that it can be tailored to your particular taste. By the way I'm not thin skinned, but when expressing yourself you don't want to offend anyone. So a good choice of words and maybe a re read is a good thing before you hit "Post Reply". Jus sayin;):thumb:

1st there are a lot of reasons, some are not really allergic or exaggerating a minor issue while others have very serious and dangerous allergies

Just as an example when I was a child a doc had suggested I get checked for allergies the allergist had me tested and it came back for so many thing and he said I needed injections which I did for a while. When I got older I realized I may be minor allergic to those things I did not need injections meds or to totally avoid those things. It was just an exaggerated Issue that years before never would have been noticed.

This however does not take away from the many people who are highly allergic or even have dangerous effects. This is way more so with food allergies.

With that said there are many different opinions about why this may be and there are many dif things going on today that had not been in the past like GMO's changes in the water and many things unknown. You can search the internet and get much info and weigh the evidence to form your own conclusions
