You're welcome, sounds like you're all set to go. And good luck on your deployment to Afghanistan :thumb:

Thanks. It is my husband that is deploying. It will be his 3rd time, 1rst Gulf war in Iraq, Enduring Freedom in Iraq, and now Afghanistan. I told him when he gets back next year it is time for him to retire.

Flavor in my METAL mini-nova is 100% there. Here is a tip for 100% VG in a nova.
Take slow draws, lets the juice wick and vape.

This was very good advice, I just started using mine and compared to the T3 I thought it was a bit muted. Started taking slower draws and all the flavor is there. I find I actually prefer the slower dragging too.

Oops, my bad. I've a friend who got deployed to Iraq a couple years ago. Well good luck to your husband, then :)

I don't have any issues with my Nova with high VG juices as well. I usually have to tip it upside down and give it a few twirls before I resume vaping when it gets near half full. The only issue I have is that I have to keep it at least half full to avoid the burnt taste since the juice will have to travel farther up the wick at that point. Bobas Bounty does fine for me. Tastes isn't as muted, if at all most times, as it is made out to be.

DON'T TURN YOUR VOLTAGE TOO HIGH, OR YOU'LL BURN THE WICKS AND THEN YOU'LL GET NOTHING !

I've vaped Boba's & others VG juices with my Vivi's. It works fine, BUT I wasn't getting the full range of flavors I get from a carto tank(Boba's tasted like pure honey, nothing else). A carto tank can be heated up a lot higher without burning anything.

You can also try adding the minutest amount of distilled water( a few drops) to your tank.

Again, don't burn your wicks with too much voltage (not over 3.6 probably on a 2.2-2.4 ohm head)

Thanks for the tips. I will check the ohms on the heads I am using. I just checked I am using 2.8 ohm. I have been vaping at 4.0-4.4 with no burning.

When I drop down to less than 4.3v I don't seem to get a very good vape. Seems like for me 4.3v and 2.4ohm with the vivi nova heads is best. I do get a burn coil taste sometimes. Maybe 1 out of 50 hits. If I go higher than 4.3 I get it much more often. I'm not so obsessed about taste and it seems to taste pretty good to me. Only better I guess if I recoil and rewick myself. Which I have no problems against. I only noticed slight muted taste when comparing the same flavor between a less convenient cartomizer and the vivi nova.
