First I have to say I love your Nuport nhale/xhale 24mg.

I am using a stock 510 manual right now. I am happy with the taste, throat hit, and vapor. The only problem I have is that I am getting roasted on the nic. I heard that most of the throat hit comes from the nic. I want to lower the nic not the throat hit

Is your High voltage juice the answer?

    Somewhere between here and there
Drew could probably better answer this but here is my opinion on what you have asked. I have tried many different liquids from Drew and it seems to me that it really varies from flavor to flavor. Not all of the 24mg liquids have stronger throat hit. I have had some of the HV liquids that actually have more TH than some of the 24mg ones. I would suggest ordering some different samplers to try depending on what type of flavors you like. They are really pretty inexpensive and it is always fun to try new flavors. I have heard from many people that they have been able to cut their nic content with a high voltage pv. This was not the case for me but it has worked for alot of people. Perhaps you should consider a high voltage pv also.

I have cut the nic with the Xhaler from 24 to about 6. Now it's nice and smooth like I like. Does cut the throat hit, but that is what was too strong for me. I use a carto with the top off and drip a few drops of liquid, then a few drops of pv/vg mix until it's just the right strength, total around 10 drops, then vape for quite a while. Guess I kind of tailpipe the carto. I bought some of those colored foamy pen grips. Stick that on the carto, then slip a mouthpiece from a 510 into the top, no juice in mouth and no burned lips.

My opinion is the higher the nicotine content generally the greater the TH. Some juices have more or less TH compared to others with the same nicotine content. However, using the same flavor with two different nicotine contents; the one with the higher nicotine content should always give a stronger TH.

As for HV vaping, you are vaporizing more juice per drag. Therefore, you get a better TH at higher voltages compared to using the same juice at lower voltages.

I have Drews Blueberry crumble in 12mg that I am using at HV(until I foolishly blew my 901 atty's) that I got as much throat hit as I normally do at 18-24 mg at 3.7. Now I'm not sure if its due to his HV recipe or HV voltage, but 24mg HV seemed at a little high at HV for me. I'll be back in HV action awaiting my Xhaler 510 adapter!

Are you asking for 24mg or HV? To me the 555 24mg, kent HV, super menthol, and virginia HV had good TH from what I remember. There may be more that I don't remember but I am sure others here can add to the list.

The same questions I had and now answered, others input would also be appreciated, thanks..

I have found Throat Hit is very subjective and some people get throat hit from some liquids that others cant taste...I allways get into trouble when I say what works for me...But I will say that Hitman and I have VERY similar thoughts about TH...555, Kent HV and grape seem to hit the spot for me when I am craving that xtra bang...I have also noticed that "for me' the nicotine content dosent allways necasarilly mean great TH...I know that confusing but that the way it is for me...

Well, I guess you answered my question the best you can. I do understand that this topic is subjective. but I am not any closer to my answer. let me ask this a different way.

I am using a stock Joye 510 manual with a B.F.D. cart mod.

If I compared a cart of your "High Voltage Nuport" to a cart of "Nhale/Xhale Nuport" 12mg of nic (I know you don't have a 12mg formula, but if you did). Would the HV have better TH? Would there be any difference between the two in my stock 510?

One other question, I am going to make a usb passthrough, will a standard 510 atty hold up at 5v or do I need a HV atty. I also purchased a kr808 adapter from you and some carto's, would they hold up at 5 volts?

    Thank you for your time

Actually I do have 12mg Nuport...But anyway this is kinda what Im talking about...The Hv is formulated to Vaporize more flavor and nic better so that many find better throat hit with it at lower nic levels...Now that would probably mean that you would hold your manual battery button a little longer than your used to with the 510 but still would achieve similar results...I hope this answers a little better...I stink at writing what my mind says sometimes...

Best answer I've found to this was in a roundabout way..I was asking about menthol flavors and someone suggested and I tried...getting the 24mg nuport and the 12mg HV super menthol and mixing them 50/50.. and it really is damn damn good..perfection as far as menthol taste, th, and nic lvl goes as far as I'm concerned..
it drops the nic content a little to round about 18mg, ups the vapor production a little, and maintains the TH..
