Just got my new SSGGTS with UFS. Running two cr123 3.0v batts. Does anyone notice that the button get hot. Never really use over 4.8v batts on the GGTS so unsure is this is normal. I also notice that the UFS even with a LR Atty needs a boost in power. I have to say I love the new UFS. Great job IMEO.

You may want to take apart your button and clean it real good including the spring. Also clean the spring in the bottom cap. This has resolved the same issues for other users.
Hot button = short. Try replacing the atty first. That is the issue most of the time. Check the button after you are 100% sure you have a good atty.

Yeah I used a commercial switch cleaner that comes in an aerosol and that solved the problem, sprayed it in, worked the switch a few times. You may need a couple of hex spanners if you want a deeper clean
