That's really not true. The top of an ice cream bar tastes the same as the bottom of the ice cream bar. Take as large a bite of the ice cream bar as you wish.

vapors vs solids. Which is more objectionable? A tiny little fart in an elevator or a LARGE one? Which is better 1 ml of ice cream or a mouthful?

Incorrect analogy.
Vapor is quite different. Sensory perception is effected More at higher volume.
I use EXACTLY the Same e-liquid in my:
Ego/Carto 1.7ohm
Ego/T3 mini 1.5ohm
4Nine/kayfun 1.3ohm
ipv Mini2/Orchid .65 ohm Dual coil

I can very easily tell the difference in Flavor from each device. In order Each device produces more Vapor than the previous. The orchid absolutely blows the others away for flavor and has at least 5x the vapor.

Another Example:
Brew a cup of coffee from fresh grounds.
Now a second cup from the same grounds.
Now a third Cup from the same grounds.
The flavor keeps diminishing even though the process remains the same.
In actuality the Flavor is the same, it is simply overwhelmed by the volume of water.
So, less available flavor results in weaker taste.

Now, just nip the end of that Ice Cream and see what I mean.;)

Somewhere out there
to each their own. I like big clouds and lots of flavor.

Since going subohm a whole new world of flavor opened up for me. I started with tanks and vaping in the 10-12 watt range, but once trying a wide bore dripper firing on all cylinders... there was no going back to my protanks.

I was really responding more to the thread title than to the first post. You can draw a line anywhere you wish and ask what's the benefit of more MORE MORE.

My point is it's OK to stop at whatever point you like, and say good enough really is good enough.

Responding to last line. I really love Vanilla Bean Ice Cream. I think the brand i buy is perfect the way it is. Adding more of any ingredient would make it worse, not better. I choose to make it last longer by taking smaller bites and savoring each one.

For me, there's such a thing as too much flavor in a vape. We have tootlers and wompers and chaser's. Sign me up for the Lemore's (less is more group).

(I hope this is taken as light-hearted discussion, that's all I intend)

I would have to say that a more dense cloud would have more flavor due to the density of flavor particles in the vape; Just as a spoonful of sugar in your coffee is not as sweet as 10 spoonfuls.

No, you can sense the difference in coil temperature, and the difference in air fuel ratio.
You simply put to much or to little flavoring in your juice for the wattage of your choice.

People constantly want to equate "more" with being better, but most really don't care for "truckers" coffee.

If you buy a particular juice, you adjust the resistance, air, and wattage to where that juice taste best. If you DIY your juice, you mix it to taste best at whatever resistance, air flow and power level you happen to be using.

(or haven't you noticed that all these "premium flavors" use completely different formulas so that they will taste right at higher wattages)

Wattage is not the whole equation. That's why you can get dry hits on an ego. All wattage does is measure power; a 600hp engine in a sports car moves a bit faster than a 600hp engine in a tractor trailer.
Yeah you can get dry hits on an ego. Rarely though and just tastes bad vs ripping your lungs out like a high wattage dry hit.

For me, I've never found the advantage to going over 10 watts. But I have gear that I enjoy, and that's my sweet spot. Others use different gear and get their sweet spot at a much higher wattage. To each his own. That's what makes this forum so enjoyable - there are so many different styles and viewpoints and yet we are all vapers and can learn from each other.

With my dripper, I can taste a not fully saturated wick wayyyy before a dry hit. I've had a dry hit on a subtank that made me want to throw up though.

Yea...............not so much. I ve been DIY longer than Hi Wattage Vaping has been popular.
I have a few simi high power mods. Never really gone there though.
A Few pulls on my Dark Horse at 70w and I was done. Avg. for my taste is 25w/35w on the more open tanks, with an average coil build of .5/.8ohms
