I'm a huge Highbrow fan myself, though I never mess with the flavors. I did try that a few times, but I just seemed to mess things up, so now I just leave it to the pros.

:)

Highbrow RY4 is one of my long time ADVs, and now you've made me sorry that I didn't add Cigar to my last order. I did consider it, but then decided that it might be too . . . well, too cigar-ish, if you know what I mean.

Would a fan of light tobaccos and gently spicy things like it, do you think?

I just tooted on some RY4 to compare. RY4 is the lightest of all of them, then Exotic Blend, then Cigar. French Pipe is very perfumey/floral in a kind of way I like. Tabac de Perique just didn't do it for me although I've vaped most of it. I've reordered all the others many times though. Cigar is probably one of the most potent they have...in flavor and color. They all have that similar base though but I think cigar has less of it than the others. I hate giving recommendations. But I'm a new vaper of just over two months, a chick, order only 100% VG with extra flavor, 24 mg, smoked cigs for 30 years, never smoked anything but cheap cigars every once in a while...and I love Highbrow's cigar. If you do order, just get the small bottle until you figure out if you like it. But to me, it's a stronger version of the others and not really a CIGAR-cigar-ish flavor. I too was worried about the name "cigar"...but I like living dangerously and this time it worked in my favor. It's my top vape. Not for everyone, but it's perfect for me.

That is called "waffling".....

No - that's not waffling! That's what I call a stellar description! You are clearly my kind of reviewer.

:toast:

I totally agree with you about Tabac de Pirique: I quite liked it when it was two weeks old, but by the time it had been around for a month, it had settled down to being a good-but-kind-of-ordinary tobacco, which was a bit of a disappointment.

That's actually why I'm looking for a second tobacco-y thing to add to my standard rotation.

I'm obviously less of a badass than you (12mg and no extra flavor ) but I am in the mood for something a bit unusual, and a bit . . . I dunno. Oomphy, I guess you might say.

I'm trying hard not to order stuff every five minutes - bad habit! - but next time I think I will try mild Cigar, and maybe . . . hhmm. What kind of perfumyness do you find in French Pipe? Is it flowery/perfumy, or spicy/perfumy, or what?

OH! I'm sorry...I just saw this post! Yeah, Tabac is ordinary. Good but plain. I like the "kerpow" of the other tobaccos more. Cigar was the first tobacco that made me go ahhhhh...very satifying. I immediately thought to myself "this is better than smoking"! French Pipe is more of a fruity/floral. I believe if I'm not mistaken Highbrow's description has "cherry", but I find it more floral than fruity. It's different, and I really REALLY like it. I enjoy the aftertaste and I find I crave it late in the evenings for some reason. I immediately bought a big bottle of it after trying it. I recently tried a "hookah" type flavor from another vendor and that is what it reminds me of. I find that I really like Highbrows tobaccos fresh out of the mailbox. And I prefer dripping their tobaccos, but their other juices are GREAT in a tank. GAWD...I got my order of Highbrow today. Four 30 ml bottles of Cappuccino Diablo (double flavor, add cream) and it is absolutely a great vape. I'm a little dizzy as I've already vaped about 3 ml in a short time. It's so freaking GOOD!

As always, taste is in the buds of the beholder (the phrase taste is subjective is getting old). Hope you enjoy them as much as me!

;)

i honestly cant see how anyone wouldnt like angels kiss

robin,

I appreciate your enjoyment of and enthusiasm for HHV Angel's Kiss, but the eliquid hasn't been made that everyone likes. And that universally-loved juice never will be made.

Why might someone not like Angel's Kiss? Because that person isn't you---meaning that he/she has a different brain, nervous system, taste buds, sense of smell, flavor associations, and life-experiences.

Lots of people might adore Angel's Kiss. Some juices are so popular that they have huge fan bases here on ECF. That said, however, someone somewhere won't like Angel's Kiss. Guaranteed. Sure, it gets old reading "taste is subjective" written over and over. But it's true.

It really IS true. Taste buds are individual little things. That's why I hate giving negative reviews, besides it doesn't feel right or fair, I know someone somewhere will enjoy the juice I don't care for. I wouldn't want to steer someone away. Some people are pros at saying it in a nice way too.

I've been dying to say "taste is objective" to see how long it takes for me to get corrected. LOL Just the rebel in me (I get that from my Mom). :p

I haven't tried as many juices as the veterans have, but I have tried some cherry, and had to throw it out! I don't mind some sweetness, but that stuff was sugar shock!

Another fab review! You really ought to have one of those video/blog/chat things on YouTube. I would SO watch it.

:)

I agree with the 900 billion people who've pointed out that tastes differ (how could one not, when there are actually people who think that pineapple pizza is a good idea?) but I've also noticed that reviewers do kinda fall into groups or types, as it were. That seems to be as true of taste in food and ejuice as it is of books and music. It's a very interesting thing!

Anyhow, French Pipe - according to your description - sounds like something I'd like a lot, and I'll order it (and Cigar) next time around. I love the idea of something fruity-floral-hookahish, but with that eccentric Highbrow tobacco thing going on. (They definitely have their own tobacco style, and I'm very fond of it, though I couldn't possibly describe it.)

And here's something else that's massively yummy: a mix of Orange de Sangre and Vanilla Bean Decadence. I'm vaping it right now (yes, in a tank!) and it's just lovely, in an orange gelato sort of way.

Aww shucks...thanks.

And Highbrow's tobaccos really are in a class of their own. They have a certain "twang" that appeals to me and I am very fond of them myself. Been dripping cigar all evening. I have a big bottle of Orange de Sangre but I haven't tried their two vanillas...yet. I want to try all of their flavors eventually, besides their menthol tobacco. I'm not sure menthol would be my thing. So only 29 more juices to try! :) :vapor:

Orange de Sangre is a good little mixer. I have some in a clearomizer with a drop of a hot-cinnamon liquid (Tasty Vapor Geoff's Blend) that I can't vape on its own without coughing. I've also mixed it with lemonade and peach and it's brilliant with those too.

I've mixed it with an Amaretto in the past, for a splendid Amaretto Sour. :)

Okay first...i hate typing with my phone...it doesnt usually let me reply with quote, and I really wanted to here. Second, yes, I obviously realize that taste is subjective. I am however, an enthusiastic and passionate person, so when I like something I sort of can't contain myself. My reviews SHOULD be less personal, but I get excited and it shows.

Angel's kiss from Hhv was a surprise, and quickly became a "go-to" for me. I am new to vaping, so everything I order is requested to have extra flavor. Angels kiss, was a balanced blend of berries, and some other mystery flavors, sometimes I pick up banana, sometimes I think it's cream, I occasionally get hints of door apple, though I'm not 100% sure of what all the flavors are. The most surprising part for me, is the cool finish. Its not overly methylated or Monty, it doesn't overpower the other flavors at all, but there is a define coolness that acts as a wonderful compliment to the berries/other flavors. I originally did not expect to like flavors like this, so I guess my point is, you might be surprised also. With anything....if you find that you typically go for one type of flavor, I am almost positive that at least one vendor out there can make you rethink your stance on flavors you thought you didn't like.

I have now tried juices from some of the top vendors....HHV, AiV, BWB, ECBLENDS, HIGHBROW, JUICY, and some smaller names as well. Good things can be said about all of them, and Highbrow remains on my list as a go-to. They are high quality and packed with flavor. I encourage anyone who hadn't tried them to go ahead and do so.

Experimenting is what it's all about. I'm new too of course, and I'm willing to take suggestions instead of merely taking a shot in the dark, if you know what I mean.

My faves from highbrow are the Coffee/hazlenut bavarian creme...i liked that one immediately without steeping, though I will say, if you generally really enjoy hazlenut as a flavor...request it with extra hazlenut. That flavor seemed to get a little lost in the coffee. But its still a great creamy coffee flavor even without extra hazelnut. I also enjoy their RY4, and I dont typically enjoy tobacco flavors as much as I thought I would originally. And even though I like this one, it becomes too much for me pretty quick so I never tank it. When I want it, I either drip it, or use acartomizer. My fave from highbrow so far is their vanilla bourbon bean. However, it definitely required steeping. When I first received it, I thought it was pretty gross...like vaping vanilla extract. Some people like that, but I prefer a creamy vanilla as opposed to a medicinal tasting alcohol ridden flavor. But after about a week and a half of steeping, it became a different juice entirely. Smooth, xreamy...just delightful. I now feel that I am satiafied by thwir vanilla that I have no urge to try vanillas from other vendors. I feel likw highbrow got it right, so trying others would just be a waste of money only for me to come to thw same conclusion...i had the best all alonf.

I obviously also recommend angels kiss from hhv, and if you like tobacco flavors...then also gandalf from there. But gandalf definitely needs steeping too. I didnt like that one at first either, but can see how its changing with steeping.

Malty Toffee from BWB, is another one I really enjoy, its not overpowering at all, but still has pleasant flavors, and people always ask me to bliw my vape.on them with this one.

Alice in Vapeland is probably my favorite vendor...this company gets it right. Their customer service is second to none, they will work with you to make sure you get what yoy want, shipping is lightning fast, prices are good, packaging.is out.of this world fantastic, and the juices are some of the more unique things ive tried. My favorite with them is B&W Cookie. Its sweet, but not too sweet. The flavor and aroma is different from any other bakery vape I have tried thus far, and they always seem to throw in a sample of another juice when you order...even if you are just ordering samples! They sent me a 10 ml sample of crunkberry along with my 30 ml order of b&w cookie. And they use high quality glass containers, with an adorable little charm soecific to the juice you ordered. I live falling down that hole! Ifthey arw a beand new company and dont have a million juices yet, so I would suggest ordering a sampler to find out which ones you want bigger sizes.
