So last week I bought my first vv from Apollo, and thought I'd try new liquid to go with it. I've always been a fan of tobacco flavors, and had seen some recommendations for Highbrow. I'm not sure if its because I picked the wrong flavors, but these are awful. I bought the Exotic Blend and Tabac de Perique they taste the way I assume it would be if I smoked fresh pine needles. I will not recommend this to anyone.

Steeping does wonders for them. I have both of those juices in my collection. Even with the steeping though, you have to like tasting the smell of a pipe tobacco shop to enjoy these juices.

Agreed. Although I have to admit I enjoy the Exotic right out of the mail, I tried some the other day that was steeping for 3 months and HOLY WOW!!!:D

I didn't like the Exotic either; tried the blend with apple flavor and peach..didn't like either. Tabac de Perique was better but still wasn't to my liking. Peach, vanilla, RY4, orange de sangre and hazel nut are great. I hated taste of pear, to me it was really nasty.
I let them steep for at least 3 weeks. Re-tried the flavors again after 2 months and still didn't like them. Pear still was the worse, really, really nasty.

Highbrowbacco-Cigar is pretty good ! you know taste is subjective . But I like it and, it goes in a tank now and then !

My favorite company for tobacco, real natural extracted in house e-liquid is Want 2 Vape / Vapenstein blends.
They have it all like , sweet , dry , smokey , harsh , mild , trashy , ash tray , smooth , nutty , woody , ect.... just real good tobacco's that cover everyones taste I would think in a tobacco vape.

Best Wishes..........

I had similar issues with Highbrow. For the extra cost they charge per bottle I was expecting to have my socks blown off and after trying 3 of there tobacco flavors ,I'm underwhelmed. The flavors all seemed to be similar in a bad way. It reminded me of vaping really cheap potpourri. ....even after steeping for 4 wks :(

I ordered four different flavors from Highbrow and I can't vape any of them. To me, they have a base flavor that makes me nauseous. I've been steeping them for almost two months but they're still awful. I'll try again in a month because they may be very different by then. Fingers crossed.

I think after 2 mths what ever flavor you have then -that's pretty much what your going to be stuck with

In my opinion, tobacco blends are definitely not Highbrow's forte. Their fruit juices, however---made from flavorings that Highbrow extracts from real fruit---are often superlative. Limoncello is the best lemonade-like nicquid I've had. Eve's Delight (apple), while more subtle and slightly musty, is also quite good. In dessert juices, Highbrow's Cheesecake Torte is definitely worth a try---very different from most of the cheesecake juices in the marketplace, but (to my palate anyway) terrific---creamy, light, and fluffy, with none of that curdled-milk sourness that is all too common among many cheesecake liquids.

I've not found any vendor from whom every juice offered is a winner for me. That seems logical and doesn't bother me, since even artisan retail juice-makers have to please a broad range of customer tastes, not just mine. Still, it's a nasty letdown when I've tried two or three juice flavors that pleased me immensely from a given vendor, then I buy another of their flavors and immediately want to pour it down the drain. I've actually done that on rare occasions, although most of the time, juices I don't like at all get relegated to permanent coma-steeping in the Juice Purgatory section of my storage cabinets. On rare occasions, juices I initially hated are magically transformed by long steeping, but that's extremely unusual. With most retail juices, if I hate 'em when I get 'em, I'll still hate 'em six months later.

I've ordered these twice in diff nic strength, but always VG and I don't get pine needles LOL I particularly like vaping these when I'm having my occasional beer (There are only 2 beers in existence that I like: Three Phliosophers and Blithering Idiot :) )...so I'm wondering what you may have had to eat or drink when you decided to try Perique and Exotic? Just curious. Thanks.

I'm still a vaping infant but I feel like Highbrow is a place I will come back to again and again. Their RY4 (after a two week steep) is so complex and rich I just absolutely love it. It is as I imagine the upper crust elite would be vaping this with a little cognac as they rule the world.
I have ordered another bottle of the RY4 along with smaller bottles of Exotic Blend and Orange de Sangre to try out.
