Highbrow continues to amaze. First of all, let me clearly express that I am in no way affiliated with Highbrow Vapors or any E-Liquid company. My reviews are my personal opinions and follow my personal tastes. Everything I review has been paid for and I try and give as honest a review as possible. I use a standard no-frills 510 rig with 18650 batteries, 3.7 volts and drip into a 1.5 ohm atomizer. I only use cartomizers on my 801 pen style unit that I use in the car. As one of my friends has said many times, dont drip and drive.
I owe my discovery of Highbrow Vapors to Robin and her excellent reviews of several of their juices and cant thank her enough for trying them out so that I could discover them. Ive never met her, but I owe her a bottle of wine when I do.
Everything I vape is 12mg of nicotine or less, and usually 6. Any more than this and I get that ringing in my ears that wont stop for days. Unfortunately with Highbrow Ive had to drop to 6 and am considering asking Bryan to lower my nic to 3mg, since I vape his stuff so frequently that even 6mg sometimes brings on that ringing. The juices in general are just so amazing that I cant stop vaping! Maybe Ill drop the nicotine completely the next time I order my favorite, which should be about ten minutes after my paycheck clears in my account.

The Juice:
Espresso (with a little vanilla) 6mg nicotine (standard mix 80/20 pg/vg)
Throat Hit: medium, surprisingly good for such a low nicotine level
Vapor Production: Good, not huge thick billowing clouds, but excellent vapor production especially since the pg ratio is so high.
Flavor: Mind F*ing incredible.
Steeping Time: Right out of the mailbox and dripped into my rig.
I love my coffee flavors, for me they are an all day vape, but until now I havent found one that I could really vape all day. Some Ive tried have a burnt taste, some taste artificial, and others were downright awful. I have found two coffee flavors before this espresso that were very good. One is the Cappuccino Diablo from Highbrow and another is a sweeter vape from a competitor that I truly love as well and have reviewed elsewhere. However, coffee is one of those flavors that are difficult to get right. From the first taste of this juice I knew that Highbrow had gotten it right.
I must admit that I wimped out and ordered the espresso with a little vanilla added. Just before I clicked submit I realized that espresso by itself might just be a tad bit too bitter and that it might be wise to cut it with a little something else. Im glad I did. Honestly, I cant taste the vanilla, the espresso flavor just powers through it, but I can tell that something (and Im convinced that its the vanilla) is holding back the bitter just enough to leave a wonderful flavor that gently smothers my tongue. Its as if I just took a sip of a Starbucks espresso and held it in my mouth for a second or two before swallowing. This flavor doesnt evaporate as so many vapes do. Theres genuine hang time with this one. Im stunned and amazed and the only thing I regret is that I didnt order a 30ml bottle. Ill be reordering this one well before Im through with the 10 mil bottle I did order.
After a week of steeping: Please note that this was almost impossible for me to do. I opened up the bottle and set it in a dark area and tried to forget how good it was, but I was very curious to find out if the vanilla component grew any stronger with steeping. I almost ordered a 30 ml bottle the same day this one arrived it was so good, but I pulled up my big boy pants and let it steep. It spent one day uncapped and then I had to cap it again and shake it. I stared at the bottle in my hand and had to take a little sample I felt like an addict trying to stretch his stash.
Since I drip and because I dont clear out my atomizer each time I change flavors I try to carry flavors that compliment each other. I sometimes discover some unusual combinations that work quite well with each other. If youve followed my reviews at all you may have read the one about the Amaretto Amore (with a splash of Orange) that I reviewed earlier. This flavor mixes incredibly well with the espresso. I dont know if its the amaretto or the orange that cuts through the thick coffee flavor, but its a nice pairing if you happen to have both on hand. It also mixes quite well with the crème brule, although the espresso powers through it in the end.
One of the nicest things about Highbrow is the amount of customization that you can do. Double flavor, not a problem. Want to add vanilla or orange or just about anything? Bryan is happy to do it. His recommended mix is 80/20 pg/vg and I havent messed with that at all since I find that the flavors are excellent, however Bryan is happy to produce in any ratio that you want. Just make a note of it during the order. Even over Christmas my order arrived less than a week after placing it. Customer service is outstanding and Highbrow has become my absolutely favorite vendor.
The Verdict: 10/10 As ordered, this is in my opinion the perfect juice.
