higher nicotine = more cough? or does it depends on flavor as well?

I asked a vender for 36 mg, strawberry flavored juice and he said they don't normally carry 36 mg for strawberry flavor because high nicotine juice causes more cough with fruit flavored juice. He said they offer a 36 mg juice tobacco flavored juice that suffer less from this problem.

So I'm wonder if high nicotine content indeed causes more coughing, and whether this effect depends on the flavor as well? Can adding menthol decrease this effect? thanks

I've tried 36mg fruit flavors and didn't cough any. In my opinion the cough is more people coughing up the gunk in their lungs left behind by cigarettes. higher nic levels will give higher TH than lower nic levels from what I have read but it could be wrong.

i dont cough from any strength eliquid up to 36% some stores just dont sell it because it cost more to make then say 18mg and people dont want to pay extra for higher nic.

I used 36mg for a couple of years with no problems 100% VG...
I have lowered to 30mg...its just right IMO...
