How about building something without the clapton wire :D you may need to let go of the fire button a little quicker and save yourself some power, after all the clapton wire is acting like a shield against your wick. I've only been doing builds lately without clapton and it still tastes good so long as you get dialed in :D i know this isnt really gonna help but the reason why i started going to higher power builds was that i found i was holding the button less but gaining more battery time and plus my attys werent getting hot atall.

32g three strand braid maybe? dunno mate.. or just go back to basics, like i said, without the clapton shield.

I hope this helps a little :)

Thanks Slip. Maybe the thing I like is the heat of the Clapton buy can't have it at higher ohms.

I hear ya though. I may experiment with 28g cores...

I made a batch of 28/32 (fused Clapton) - still comes in pretty low - roughly .2-ish ohms per 5-wrap @ 3mm ID (IIRC). If you went with 28/36 you might do a little better, but I have a hard time seeing how you'd ever get a fused Clapton coil close to 1 ohm that would fit in any atomizer I know of ;-)
