roxy has your 70vg been wicking o.k.???

Yes, I'm using 70vg and mine is working great. My juice is a diy though so I don't know if I can say how it compares to vendor juice. To me it seems thicker than ITC, but maybe it isn't.

I'm one of the others testing the HIGO RTA out. It's definitely a looker - it's gorgeous!

However, that's pretty much where it stops for those of you that will be using max VG in it. By Max VG, I mean above 70%. I'm using 90VG (allergy to PG, all I can handle is the PG in my flavoring) and it doesn't wick at all.

I've tried thick, thin, long, short cotton tails and it does nothing. I even went to the extreme of using no cotton at all, and it wouldn't even flood.

If you're using anything under 70VG, as the other testers have reported, you should be fine (I don't have any to test, so I can't claim that myself.) Another tester with max VG is also having the same issues getting his to wick.

I'm not nitpicking or trying to slander Focus at all, they're good people it seems and they mean well, but I have to be honest and try saving you Max VGers like me some cash.

Other than that, this tank is fantastic. I imagine that if you're using ~70VG or less, you're in for a wonderful vape. When I prime the coils myself, the flavor is out of this world! Airflow is phenomenal too.

If they fix those juice holes (or whatever the underlying problem is) max VGers are in for a treat too!

Could you snap a up close pick of the channels and where it goes into the chimney cap please. There maybe a easy fix and I will try to help as much as I can.

Its hard to say what might be the fix for high vg users. Focusecig is advising against drilling the feed holes in the chimney.

I don't know if its advisible to add a drop or two of distilled water to high vg juice?

I'm a long time smoker (35 years) and do have allergy induced asthma. Cold air can set it off, too, so this time of the year I have to be careful about that every time I go outside. My furnace croaked last night so I'm going out a lot for firewood. I've not done well with higher than 70vg so testing it myself might be a problem. I have no reason not to believe the other testers though, so my advice is that this is probably not the tank for you if you're a high vg user. If it weren't for the other testers I never would've known.

Is the juice feeding system similar to the Aqua v2...a ring of holes above the coil deck? (guess I should look at the pics, huh?) I used a sharp hole-punch to slightly widen every other feed hole in my Aqua and am able to use max VG on it. (Yes, I still use it on occasion if I want a high flavor machine.)

Yes, it is. Very similar to the Aqua v2 or Kayfun 4.

I had suggested maybe trying every other hole first so you don't accidentally turn it into a flood factory, so I'm happy to hear that :)

:sneaky: Well it didn't show up today. USPS was in true form, teasing me with the delivery date... and yeah, I know the date is 'estimated' but they hit it like 33% of the time, so I was hoping it would make it here today!

Maybe the western postal workers not caught in the storm to the east were jealous and decided they needed a break too. ;)

I'm sorry. Maybe they are jealous. I hope you get it Monday and that you enjoy it as much as I am.

I'm one of the guys who is testing this tank using hi vg. I did, against the advise of focus, alter the juice holes. I used a point shaped carbide bit and chamfered the edges of the holes on the top towards the center of the tank. I then chamfered the holes slightly from the bottom. The green o ring is an issue too, I wound up removing it, and forming a paper gasket that has notches cut to not obstruct the holes partially. It's now wicking well, with thick juice. I'm not sure if I'm done altering it, it's really giving great flavor. I'm vaping .35 claptons at about 60-65 watts, it's nice and warm, I cAn hit it about 10 times in a minute, and it keeps up. After that I get dizzy. The tank, in this form, is outstanding. I also had one bottle of 60 vg, and I used it in the tank in its stock form. It performed flawlessly. I don't know if I've ruined the tank for thinner juice, and Im not concerned as 90 percent of my juice is hi vg. I'll post pics when I break it down, and I'll continue to give updates.

My HIGO was supposed to be here today but for some reason it got held up in Cleveland. I have never had vape mail go through Cleveland before.

Since roxy is in Ohio methinks she is trying to abduct my HIGO!! lol

Once upon a time Cleveland was my home town, but I've been 2 hours away for almost 3 decades now :). And with my furnace acting up I won't be driving there to abduct it.

And won't be holding my breath on the Browns, who I'm expecting to waste their #2 draft pick on a "franchise QB" once again, in a year where there are no outstanding prospects. If they were smart (which they aren't), they would grab Bosa or an outstanding offensive lineman and use their #32 slot on one of the not so impressive QBs.
