I just asked if they've made a decision yet on releasing a black version. They were thinking about it a couple of weeks ago.

. They are still investigating different plating techniques. They want a durable coating if they do it, and not just whatever. So that's a good thing. And they need to make sure it won't interfere with the bottom airflow controllers..Looks interesting. I would like to have a velocity-style deck, though. Don't understand why they still those decks with only 2 holes

Also, its their deck design from the Skyfall instead of copying someone else's.
I'm guessing it was for space reasons. Velocity style decks wastes a lot of space unnecessarily.
A tip from Focusecig for maximizing flavor: be sure to align side and bottom airflow like this photo.

And the dual air flows are giving me wild-eyed dreams of solving my biggest problem with tanks, which is that the rayon holds up for days and days, but I can never avoid the build-up of burned juice on whichever side of the coil is opposite my airflow. With horizontal/bottom it's effectively gonna be hitting every side of the coil, right?
I hope the flavor on that thing is stellar, if it is I feel like I'll have no choice but to pick one up.

Now if we only knew if it was coming in black at some point. I'd hate to buy the SS version first, then the black version comes out later, has happened to me all too frequently lately.
I know, and there's not been a decision yet on black. I will let everyone know when there is.
If they decide to do black I'll be holding out for that before adding a second one.
