Oh for god's sakes you now want me to not use the word HOMELESS?

Jesus H. Christ. Drunk in Public (yea I realize the letters are reversed for "coolness") I would like you to change your name to "Idiot in public" because you are stereotyping the alcoholics who might be living through an unfortunate situation called alcoholism and might be drunk in public.

Idiot in public is also more accurate and it's not possible to STEROTYPE what something actually IS, like a HOMELESS PERSON who is ACTUALLY HOMELESS and yes most PROBABLY is living through some unfortunate situation but they are ACTUALLY HOMELESS so using the word homeless is like, called ACCURACY.

What word should I use? "Temporarily unable to purchase even a PO box, because I'm so messed up?"

"Differently homed?"

WHAT? I am all agog to hear perhaps the most PC ANSWER TO THE DUMBEST QUESTION I HAVE EVER ASKED.

God protects, fools, drunks and children. You are lucky indeed my friend.

What is the voting age in Canada?

18. But being allowed to vote is not the problem. Underage vaping that your government is using as part of an excuse to remove certain freedoms is the problem.

We do have underage vaping – age restrictions can only do so much. But we are not dealing with an epidemic.

So at 18, the youth of the country is wise enough to elect a government but until nineteen not wise enough to enter a vape shop? If it works for you, good, I find that a little ... well, I'll leave it there.

I said I will refrain from using the word homeless. You can use it as much as you want. But I do not see homeless as being a major factor to your underage vaping crisis. Whether homeless or not, they are still an adult who should act as a responsible adult and not purchase age restricted items for minors.

Also do not take to kindly to you calling me an idiot. Trying to have a mature conversation here. I may not agree with what you say but still respect your opinion and would never resort to condescending remarks.

And what is your legal voting age vs the legal age to purchase vape products?

Eighteen to vote, twenty-one to buy cigs or vape here in Kentucky. You were the one who said, "By law, no person under the age of 19 is allowed inside a vape shop here in Ontario – and I have to agree with that rule." So I wondered, why you would agree that voting is fine while entering a vape shop is not. But to each his or her own.

Again – the age of voting is not the problem. It is a freedom our governments allow. Is the ability to vote contributing to your underage vaping crisis?

No, PiD, but now matter where it occurs the dichotomy between vaping age and voting age puzzles me. If you are fine with having someone who too stupid to enter a vape shop but at the same age is wise enough to choose your rulers, OK fine, but I find it mystifying.

I do not know the reasons behind choosing the age to vote vs a legal age to vape. But my governments felt 19 to vape was appropriate, and in doing so they created a law that anyone under that age cannot enter a vape shop. There has to be limit set – whether it is 19, 18 or 21. I may or may not agree with the age, but do agree with the law.

I am not sure why you agree with these laws and age limits but it really doesn't matter, I am bowing out of this conversation.

This not directed to @CMD-Ky (respect you do not wish to discuss further) but let me ask…

Do people not feel exposure is one of the contributing factors to your underage vaping epidemic? Out of sight, out of mind and to take that further, restrict the age in which you are allowed to enter these businesses. It is not a solution to your problem, but it is certainly a step toward a right direction. And certainly better than a flavour ban.

I can't speak for everyone, but when I was a minor anything that was considered taboo, or off limits, made me REALLY want to do that thing! I have never been a rule follower. You're better off telling me TO do something, because then my stubborn self won't, since I don't like being told what to do.

Bravo changeu.

Hell I quit drinking at 21 because………I was legally able to. Boh-ring!!
After the newness of being bored by being legal wore off I drank heavily for a couple of years. Then I stopped because I was an alcoholic.

Vaping is the new smoking with youth culture. The nanny state thinks they can get the youth to sing coom-bye-yah while blindly following their uptopian logic. Youth being youth, a large segment is always going to buck the system. That will probably never change.
