Just got my Gunmetal Vamo from smoktek yesterday - very nice to look at and is my first APV.

I charged my two batteries to full and placed a vivi nova on top of the vamo. I enjoyed the vaping experience a lot more then my standard eGo-t kit I have but I noticed an issue almost instantly.

When pressing the fire button, sometimes I get nothing. I just press the button again and it works fine. Anybody else have this issue? I dont want to wear this button out anytime soon.

I have had the same thing happen to mine.. I found a lot of juice inside the battery compartment where a tank had leaked. Im sure it coated the board and everything inside. Not sure how I will proceed. I drained out all the juice and cleaned the battery that was inside. Still doing the same thing. I think I will get a can of contact electrical cleaner and spray the hexk out of it and let it run through the device just like the juice did and then let it dry out. Will probably solve the problem.. Did you feeel or see any juice on your battery at any point?

Have the same problem and it can comes from the batteries you use.
I've misfire with "trustfire" batteries (18350 - 1200 mAh) but none with Moettcell ICR 18350.

I don't have 18350 AW batteries but will buy them ASAP.

Hope it helps ?

Could be, But I use Pan's button tops and have 2 vamos and have never had this happen since day one. Dont think it is the battery issue the way the switch has to be pressed 2 times to make it fire especially since I had juice coating my battery in a big way.. dont know about others having this problem but juice does get down inside. Thought they were sealed but not one of mine is sealed very good.. It doesnt take much juice to cause a problem like what I am seeing.. imo
