I'm thankful I found ECF. I have met some of the most wonderful and supportive people in the world here. People like BiancaMontgomery and Prism who have been like sisters to me. The awesome people of the PIF group whom I am fortunate enough to be a moderator for. Best of all though is that I also met my fiance Beebopnjazz here on ECF  we're going to be married January 1st :)
Whether or not I win this contest I am without a doubt the luckiest man in the world :) and I have more than enough reason to be extremely thankful.

Love ya', Jim, and you have no idea how happy I am for you and bbnj -- but am I the cousin who only gets invited at the holidays, though?!?!?!?
This is not a contest for pessimists, but I'll try anyway. I'm thankful for all the great people over in PIF. They helped me stay with vaping until I found some flavors I can go all day with. Now, 6 months later, not only am I off cigarettes, but off nicotine completely. I never even fully intended to quit smoking. But I don't really care if I ever quit vaping.

Yeah, its been a crappy couple years!!!

Its so petty but my deep dark secret is I am thankful when I still get asked for my ID now and then. I used to get so insulted; now I want to throw my arms around the person asking. My husband says he is thankful people don't ask if I'm his daughter anymore.

Oh yeah and I am thankful for all the Hallmark reasons- wonderful sons and husband, good health, good friends and the world's best dog ever- all the things that make me smile every day.

I wish that still happened -- I haven't been carded since I was 18!!!8-o8-o8-o

I am thankful that I have the freedom to choose to smoke or not, to vape or not, to live life or just autopilot my way through.

Damn skippy, darlin!:)

I'm thankful for my parents that where strict and brought me up right, without them I wouldn't have what I have today. I look back at what I was yelled at for and how mad I was that I was grounded. Now many moons later I see why they did what they did. Now, I'm the parent, I hope I follow in my parents foot steps and my son can become a fine young man and carry on what I have learned.

Every day, every day......and I wish my dad was here to see the job I was doing with his granson, he would have adored him as much as I do.....:cry::cry:

I'm thankful for cows, 'cuz cows make steak!

Yummy beef - -as I eat burgers constantly, I am thankful for that too!!!:thumb:

I am thankful..........
I already won one of your contests
I have good friends here and on the other forums
A good friend I work with occasionally (luv ya' Chief)
PVs and vaping since I don't hock up lugies anymore
Contests, contest, contests!!!!!
Most of my relatives and friends made in through the year
We still own our house!!!:)

I know this may sound corney, but I am thankful to be alive and for my daughter. In the last year alone, I lost my job, broke my left ankle, broke my right ankle, have been cut off by the unemployment commison because of the ankles, have lived in a house with no floor, no water, no electricity, no food, no hope..... A couple of years ago, my husband left my daughter and I for an "older" woman, lost my house to forclosure and had a heart attack, broke my left wrist, oh and had ankle surgery on my left ankle that I just rebroke. My girl and I moved to my families farm in rural VA and have spent the last few years trying to survive. She is incredible, after all we have been through is graduating with honors and going off to become a nurse, becuase she has had so much practice taking care of me these last years. I am grateful for every day I get to breathe air, my parents both died young, my dad from a heart attack. I am so far outliving him, to outlive her I have a few years to go, but try always to remember how lucky I am to be here and to have a child as wonderful as she is and to be able to keep on living and loving the people in my life.

The other thing that I am incredibly grateful for is this forum and the people here. I have not, in my entire life, come across a group of souls this wonderful. The people here are the best I have ever seen. Its been amazing, this little journey I'm on to stay alive, the kindness, compassion and heart of this group. Its like God put his hands together and gathered the best of the best to quit smoking together and to keep each other afloat. I have had some really bad days lately and this forum is where I come to fill up my heart when its depleated, right now I coulnd't live without it, I pray I can keep the internet on....................

I'm just so thankful to be off analogs. This gratitude has grown more and more due to the vaping community and the great vendors and suppliers out their that are completely trustworthy. Not to mention, my health and the fact that I can help others to get off analogs which saves lives and improves their health.

I'm thankful for my health and my family's health. I am also thankful for my mom's support while I'm unemployed. Her helpful words of encouragement and finance, are helping me stay a float, while I look for work. I dont know where I would be with out her, and which is why I'm very thankful this year.

Tacoma Wa,
I am thankful for everyone I have in my life.
My wife who is also my best friend, my little girl and the rest of my weird family.:)
I am thankful to still be working a full time job (thank goodness for discount retail).
Most of all I am glad I quit smoking and can now hopefully live much longer and enjoy all the things I love.
I am thankful that even though I don't make much money it is still enough to provide for my disabled wife and my baby girl and still donate food to food banks.
Having used food banks in the past, I remember as I ate the food, I would think about the people who donated it and why.
Now that I am able to, I can see why they did.
It give you a warm feeling to know you are helping strangers to be able to do one of the most basic of functions of life.

Donate to your local food bank.
Even one can of food can mean alot to someone going without. :)

I am very thankful that in this tough economy I have been able to work, go to school and have just the little bit left over to pay off student loans. And thankful to have found e-cigs! They've helped me save money to pay back my loans and are helping to increase my lifespan now that I'm off of analogs and feeling so much healthier. And I'm so thankful that my fiance is finally willing to give them a chance, I want him around as long as possible!

So much to be thankful for!!

I'm thankful for my family, who is always there for me. I'm thankful for my kids, who keep me humble and make me laugh till i have tears in my eyes at least once a day. I'm thankful for my job, which remained constant through the past two years of unrest in both the country and my personal life. I'm thankful for the hard times in my life, which let me appreciate just how GREAT life is now!

I'm thankful for all the great people here in ECF, who've been so supportive, funny, and helpful during the transformation from smoker to vaper!

Lastly, I'm thankful for my PV and the success of quitting the analogs, which has changed my life for the better and I'm thankful for the chance to spread vaping knowledge to those i know and care about so that their lives can be better too.

P.S. I'm thankful for free prizes!!!! LOL

I am thankful for my beautiful wife, my best friend and my soulmate. I am truly blessed that my wife is all of these things to me. I have known her now for over half my life and she still surprises me with her kindness, her humor and her intelligence. I am very thankful that we have one another. In 2008 we lost her mother and then 48 days later we lost my father. I am convinced that God knew we would need one another through these tremendous losses and that both of us suffering losses of unimaginable magnatitude very close together helped us to have a greater understanding and sympathy for one another. Loving her has truly made me a better man and for this I will be forever thankful.

I am thankful for my family that no matter how dysfunctional, we still support each other and are there for each other in our times of need.

I am thankful for my fiance for putting up with my eccentricities and always being by my side no matter how bad life may seem at times.

I am thankful for my job in this horrible economic climate. Thankful for being able to provide, although not in the fashion I would like, for my fiance.

I am especially thankful for my friends who always have my back!

Okay, in honor of Thanksgiving let me know what you are thankful for!

Game or not, I am supremely grateful for all of the times that God has said “No” when I asked for things that I did not need.

In his wisdom, he has withheld many things that would have, ultimately, made me unhappy or would have prevented me from receiving those gifts that truly matter.

In the inexperience of my early youth, I wanted objects that were “fun” to occupy my time.

Little did I realize that they would have prevented me from learning the things I needed to know about how sustain and provide for myself and the others that would come to depend upon me.

During my teens, I wanted to be popular – but, by the time I had finished High School, most of the “popular crowd” had made some ill chosen decisions that took them down unenviable paths. Several did not survive.

In my early adulthood, I wanted an easy path to success.

I did not understand that this would have left me un-weathered and would have set me to be easily broken whenever one of life’s many storms come through.

As I entered my prime, I wanted a wife that other men would look at with envy at a glance.

Instead, he sent me a beautiful wife who has become completely gorgeous inside as we age together, and she has further enriched my life with wonderful children.

I have asked for the absence of sorrow, but without it I would not have learned to truly appreciate the overwhelming gift of joy.

So, I am educated, alive, weathered, happy - and aware of it - because of many of the things that God has denied to me.

I look forward to discovering the wonderful things he will grant me in the future - instead of the things that, in my ignorance, I “think” I want now.

I am thankful for the fact that my prayers have always been answered – and especially for those times that the answer was “No.”

Something better has always been provided, and I trust that this pattern will continue when my time comes to a close.

As I have written this, I have been listening to the instrumental “Lewis & Clark” by Tommy Emmanuel, and I wish I could set it as a soundtrack for this post.

Here it is (if the link is allowed)

If I may comment - I like to point out to new acquaintances that "I am much smarter than my wife."

After all "Look at who I married, :2cool: and at who she married!"
